Dora could not be nicer. She gave us lots of good advices. Told us to have dinner in Niscemi at a Pizza place. The best pizza ever. Ricotta, artichokes and pancetta. She even adviced me about keratine. Such a lovely young lady! Loved her!!!

If you’re looking for a few days in paradise, this is it. The more remote location and kind of out of the way travel you need to do to get there (from the most traditional beach-front destinations) is absolutely worth it. The place is impeccable. there was some construction going on at the property while we were there, and we didn’t even feel it. Everything felt magical and it felt like our needs and wants as guests were put first in every decision. We were traveling as a family with two small kids, and even though this is a very romantic property - our kids also enjoyed our stay there very much. The wine was incredible. The food was fantastic (I had the tasting menu for dinner one night, and it was the best meal I had in our whole time vacationing in sicily). Their wine is also fantastic.

Apartment is a hidden gem. Really nice interior with all the amenities. We stayed for only one night but it definitely suits also for a longer stays. Entrance door is from the back of the building with lots of free parking spaces. Walking distance to the store, restaurants and town center. Friendly host. Recommended.

Lovely and beautiful, just a few small details as listed, small but these details jump out. Liked · The dinner and restaurant were excellent. The staff at dinner were especially wonderful, especially Conectta. She made our stay just brilliant. Disliked · For such a special place, the expectation of a welcome drink of water in a small paper cup seemed to undermine the experience on arrival. Perhaps offering a glass of their wine would have been nice, or at least a glass cup for the water. someone to carry the bags to the room would also have been a nice touch. The reception area/sofa with the video...The video is on loop and short, so the images, especially the repetitive music, are annoying after a long drive. Also, a nice touch would have been a free bottle of wine in the room..instead of a menu and a small "off-brand" little fridge which seemed poor considering the portion and image of Feudi Del Pisciotto. Also a bottle of water! The room also had instant coffee sache's of NestCaffe which, considering you in Italy is also a poor detail.

Not to be underestimated, although inland it is close to the...

Not to be underestimated, although inland it is close to the wonders of Sicily such as Piazza Armerina (Villa del Casale), Ragusa, Donna Fugata, Valley of the Temples, Gela, Noto etc. But it also has a unique Civic Museum, an 18th century Fiefdom now a Resort and fabulous winery (Feudo del Pisciotto), the Sughereta, a unique and beautiful lung in which to spend some wonderful moments.

This stopover allowed us to immerse ourselves in Sicilian life, without a single tourist in sight. It was a truly refreshing change of scenery. The town center and the viewpoint are Niscemi's main attractions. The Colosseo restaurant offers good value for money.
