Oria feels like an undiscovered gem.
Oria feels like an undiscovered gem. It's kind of sleepy, particularly during the day. We were there in the week before their Palio, and things started to pick up prior to this summer festival, but at times it felt like the town was ours alone. The castle is magnificent, the Giardino Montalbano is beautiful and mysterious, the church is impressive and the crypt with preserved mummies is unique. Finding a place open for lunch or dinner that meets your desire and timeframe can be difficult but it's part of the fun. It doesn't pop like Ostuni or some other towns, but it is so charming and has a fraction of the tourists.Guest review byChristopherItaly

Kitchen is well outfitted with better-than-average pots and pans. The dishwasher and washing machine worked well and the bed was particularly comfortable. The terrace was perfect for breakfasts, an afternoon drink, or an evening chat. Oria itself is also worth mentioning, it flies under the radar but has a lot of charm and is absolutely worth visiting.
