This farm hotel was located outside of Ostuni and offered good food at dinner and breakfast, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. My only regret was staying for just one night. This would be a great place to stay for a long weekend. The property had a beautiful pool and free bikes to borrow. There is so much to do in the area or just kick back and relax on the grounds.
Hotel Monte Sarago offers air conditioned rooms with free internet and a 32'' satellite TV. It is a 5-minute walk from Ostuni's historic center. The Puglia coast is just 10 minutes’ drive away.

Close to old town without being in it. It was a convient location as we were biking to the hotel. It’s a large hotel that is set up for big groups. The breakfast was great! They safely stored our bikes for us, thanks!

Old Ostuni is a beautiful, white hilltop town and is very centrally located in the Puglia region on the heel of Italy with good access to Matera, Lecce, Bari, Alberobella (Tulli houses), Martina Franca and other sites. Old Ostuni has some steep streets and stairs, but one may always take a tuk-tuk to get around or have a tour. The replica of the Venetian Bridge of Sighs is a beautiful site in Ostuni.

Car parking for tourists is a nightmare with over zealous parking wardens. Lecce has built an excellent, central underground car park which is safe, clean. Yes it costs a few Euros but the facility exists. Ostuni has aggressive locals monopolising insufficient car parking. The Ostuni authorities are strangling tourism as Ostuni has a dreadful reputation for parking which reduces the tourist foot fall. Typical arrogance, though, from Italian local government which also does little to prevent litter every where.

Ostuni is a stunning city on a hill with beautiful views out over the surrounding countryside and east to the Adriatic Sea. The centro storico has been beautifully preserved and is a joy to walk through. Ciccio gelato shop, located outside of the old portion of the city, produces amazingly good gelato. Gabo (in the old city) has excellent cocktails and aperitivi.
I visited near the end of low season and the city had a sleepy vibe. I don't know that I would enjoy it as much with the crowds of summer.

Ostuni, like other towns in Puglia is a hilly, ancient, cobbled street tourist haven. Our visit in late September had fewer crowds and good weather. Eating in the tourist areas was less enjoyable than finding an excellent restaurant packed with local people and serving delicious specialties. It's wonderful name in English is "The Usual Place" (Il Solito Posto).
It is a good base for exploring the many interesting local sites, the lively nightlife and for day travels to nearby towns and villages.

Beautiful white city 15 mins from the sea.
Beautiful white city 15 mins from the sea. The old town is steep and has lots of steps but totally worth the climb.Car hire recommended for trips to other nearby towns such as Locorotondo, Alberobello and seaside towns of Monopoli and Polignano A Mare which although can be reached by train and bus due to timetables can take more than double the time to reach. We will definitely return to this stunning part of Italy.

Italy at its best.
Italy at its best. It may not be beachside, but you can see the sea from the terraces and from east-facing bars and restaurants. You KNOW you’re in Italy when you approach the main square. If you’re self-catering, there’s a number of decent mini-supermarkets within 10 to 15 minutes’ walk of the square. Lots of bijoux shops right off the square. A lovely green park full of Italian gents chatting about their day, just up the street. Ostuni is a great introduction to Puglia. A ride in a tuc-tuc style tourist buggie through the tiny backstreets (especially at night) is an unforgettable experience.
This is truly the gem of Ostuni! The most beautiful apartment in the heart of the old town that has been restored tastefully and with every comfort you could wish for. It is spotlessly clean with beautiful decor. A step back in time with all the comfort of a 5 star experience. To Valerie my host, thank you - a visitor to Ostuni or indeed any destination in Italy could not hope for a nicer place to stay. Thank you for being such a welcoming and accommodating host. I cannot recommend WhiteStone- La Terrazzo enough.
The Masseria Le Carrube was amazing! The property is beautiful and located just outside the historic center of Ostuni. If you are renting a car, the Masseria allows you to get the chill vibe of being away from crowds but allows for easy access to the surrounding cities. It was a great jumping off point for visiting areas like Martina Franca, Alberobello, and Polignano a mare. The breakfast was great and the pool was great respite during hot days. You can't go wrong if you book here.
Feels like home.
We were warmly welcome by Lucia, and ou stay was exquisite.
Everyone was available to help us and acomodate in the best possible way our stay.
We are 5 minutes walk from the center of Ostuni.
We chose to spent 10 days in this location and travel on one day trips in the puglia, it was us (couple + a kid) the perfect combination to discover the region between trips and swimming pool.
We have done everything in train, the network is good and cheap.
Loved the cool, clear and refreshing pool; the quiet, tranquil setting surrounded by olive trees; the friendly, helpful, and attentive owners Gianlucca and Nicola; convenient laundry facilities; good location makes days trips to Otranto, Grotta della Poesia, Torre dell’Orso, Ostuni, Lecce, Alberobello and many beaches amd beach clubs possible. Just exactly what we wanted in our stay at a quintessential Apulian masseria. Grazie Mille Gianlucca and Nicola… Arrivederci!
I appreciated very much staying at the lovely Stunis boutique hotel, with its beatiful decorations of the rooms which recalls the old fashion of the city and connect it with the modern comfort, the care for the details to create a warm and wellcoming place, the sparking cleanliness every where, the wonderful breakfast, but most of all the hospitality of Mateo, the owner of the hotel, always very kind and taking care of us.
Fabulous! Best B&B in our Italy trip, one of the very best in our 50 years of travelling. Breakfast is abundant, delicious! Julia and Ron are very welcoming, communicative and helpful. The house, the pool, the country side surroundings make it a great base for visiting Ostuni, Alberobello, Matera etc, or for resting and farniente by the pool. Thank you Julia and Ron.

Our host was engaging and had excellent recommendations for restaurants, laundromat, groceries, and more. The view from the rooftop mesmerized us. Ostuni is very walkable, even though it is hilly, and the history is compelling and interesting. We became enchanted with Ostuni and the carefully and thoughtfully restored home. From Ostuni there are many beaches and ancient villages.
Miriam and Andrea have created an amazing place to stay. The attention to detail is incredible and the design outstanding. I have never stayed in rental accommodation this good... everything is there as if it was your own home, only much, much nicer!!!
Truly this is a five star boutique hotel experience, I cannot say enough nice things.
This place was surprising fresh and clean. The bathroom is big and modern and the bed was one of the best ones I have tried in Italy (soft with big comfortable pillows). It was also very close to the old town, which was the perfect location for me and my sister. It was overall a perfect place to stay for us a couple of days in Ostuni.
The facility was gorgeous, but most memorable were the staff. They were friendly and seemed truly happy and proud of their jobs. We received a peek into life in Puglia through chatting with them.
Exceptional and the best after 3 weeks in Italy. The host went out of his way to assist us, and we felt privileged to be welcomed into the beautifully restored building. Each detail was perfect!
This is a lovely hotel in a central location. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The staff were very helpful about recommended restaurants snd transfers to other parts of Puglia.
It was very boutique villa, with nit and clean garden and pool. The staff was very helpful with every question we had.
I would definitely go back there whenI am in Puglia
Wonderful communication especially for lost Americans driving in Italy for the first time. Place was absolutely adorable and comfortable. The location is PERFECT!!!!!
Location is perfect for exploring the Puglia area and visiting beautiful cities in the area, like Locorotondo & Ostuni.Very a very authentic house in quiet areas.
very nice property. if you’re interested in going to the beach they have a shuttle that goes back and forth. it is a distance from the center of Ostuni
