The property is absolutely stunning and the owners are so nice and helpful. We loved sitting in the lawn chairs overlooking the olive grove and enjoying local wine and snacks. It is a very quick drive into Magliano and the staff helped acquire restaurant reservations for us every night at fantastic restaurants.

Looking for a one night stay to bridge our journey east to west, I found this guesthouse by accident. Impressed by their online photos, I booked a room not realizing how amazing this stay would be. Gaia, the owner, has impeccable taste. You'll notice it in the design of the rooms (which have both style and comfort) and in the fantastic dishes served at her small restaurant just a short walk down the road into town. I had never heard of Scansano, but now I will never forget it. It was the perfect weekend getaway. By the way, if you go here and no one is around to check you in, just walk down the steps to the road and find Gaia in the first restaurant you see.
