There was nothing to dislike but older people like us should wear sensible shoes. Most areas are cobbled but it is part of the history. We were at a wedding 25 mins fro Perugia but lunch outside are hotel was great with wonderful views Easy to get round no buses. One can cover the main sights of Perugia in a long day.
One can cover the main sights of Perugia in a long day. If you're driving, use the minimetro at Pian di Massiano. It's free to park, and the ride up to the centre of the old town is €1.50 each way. Just outside the hotel there is an escalator that takes you into the Rocca Paolina and from there to Piazza Italia, so reaching Perugia city centre was really easy. The bus station is just down the road, and the train station is easily reached via the Minimetro'. Our top floor room had a lovely terrace!
