GermanyWe came by bicycle from Siena, it was a spectacular ending arriving to Il Cerreto late afternoon. we loved that the farm was surrounded by rolling hills and had a rustic but comfortable feel. The room was cozy and we liked that the feel of the old building was kept in tact.
The restaurant was a nice experience both for dinner and breakfast. Refreshing to eat farm-fresh ingredients and enjoy a vegetarian approach to Tuscan cuisine.
The staff were all super friendly and would love to return.

United StatesFamily owned and we met some of them and they are wonderful people. Very lovely family who genuinely care and get to know their guests even for a short stay. Beds are great, rooms are spacious and clean, location is a great proximity to Volterra. The restaurant is quaint and makes fantastic handmade pasta. Overall 10/10! Would repeat!!

As soon as we arrived we found a cute list of things to do and places to see ! the breakfast was so cute with always something sweet made by them ,when I asked for almond milk the next day it was there and this meant a lot ! if you love a quiet place in the middle of a reserve this is the place ! in all Tuscany it was extremely hot but there the weather was so cool and beautiful ! The hosts also did a private cooking session for me and my daughter that was sooo much fun and a memory that we will cherish forever !We will come back for sure ;)

Pomarance is a small and quiet town, also with history and charm but with no tourism. With people who live there sitting and talking on the street and greeting you when you walk there. Middle week you hear the band rehearsing nearby, delicious. There are a couple of good and cheap pizzerias (L'ultimo Spicchio and Blasi). And a big supermarket, coop, next door.

A small town that has everything you need. It has a great pizzeria and restaurant, a well-stocked market open every day, two bakeries, a gas station, and a good, honest auto repair shop (we had to use them). Plus, beautiful views, friendly people, and lots of sunshine.

There are many attractions in the area, if you are not in a hurry and are willing to travel in the surrounding countryside you can see many interesting and beautiful things. The area has a very high rate of geothermal energy use.

The town is small but has everything you need; from Pomarance, you can easily reach other places like Volterra, the geothermal hills, and, with a slightly longer journey, even the sea. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, with rolling hills and diverse Mediterranean scrub.

The location is very convenient for exploring the surrounding area. Volterra, Siena, Pisa, Florence, and the (free) thermal baths are easily accessible. The town center is a short walk away. The town has a charming atmosphere. On Wednesdays, there was a market where you could buy delicious cheeses, cold cuts, fish, and seafood, as well as clothes, shoes, vegetables, and more.

I recently spent a week at Residence Il Monastero and had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming. The space was clean, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view. It would have been even better if there was air conditioning, but the fans did a good job of keeping the space cool. The location is fantastic, with a great route to Pisa or Florence. The pool area was also a highlight, providing a perfect place to relax. I highly recommend it for a wonderful stay!

If you look for a strategic point,from which you can visit the most important places in Tuscany, Amedeo's location is just perfect. Quiet and peaceful place. Beautiful view. The apartment is fully equipped.
Amedeo is very friendly and open. It was just a pleasure to be there. And we know, it's not the last time 😊
Also the small town of Pomarance, where the Il Torino is placed in, is worth giving a chance, and take a lazy evening walk through. You will discover nice views.

An authentic rural Italian villa, that is pretty well kept by the generations. It is dated, but very well kept. Mattresses are comfy and overall very well equipped.
