Hotel Savoia has been in the family for 3 generations. It has a fantastic location in Positano, next to popular Mulini Square and 656 feet from the beach.

Hotel Savoia is an actual hotel in one of the main streets of Positano, slightly up the hill, but wonderfully located in terms on walking, luggage and access. To provide some context my wife and I moved our luggage (two carry ons, a medium luggage, and a backpack) from the port to the hotel mid summer. It is like a 15-20 minute walk from the port to the hotel if you are carrying luggage but it’s a totally doable journey. You can also always use the Positano porters who can bring your bags all the way to the hotel. Location is one of the most important things to consider while staying at Positano, hence Hotel Savoia becomes a great option to stay. Hotel Savoia is a very nice hotel with multiple floors, rooms, a restaurant and a bar. This is a full complex with very attentive and helpful staff. The room is impecable, clean, comfortable bed, very nice sheets and pillows and a very good bathroom and shower. A/C works perfectly as well as wifi. Our room had a private terrace with beautiful views to the Positano mountain. Even when the nightly rate is expensive, it’s is definitely worth it, taking into consideration how expensive Positano is in general, and how good the location and the overall hotel is. We would completely recommend staying at Hotel Savoia

What Guests Said About Positano:

This hotel was perfectly situated just about 50 meters from...

This hotel was perfectly situated just about 50 meters from the ferry drop-off point. The onsite restaurant was excellent, and there were several excellent choices for dinner within steps of the hotel. Other than "squeaky" floors (just slip your shoes off), we had not a single negative issue with the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. From Luca in the restaurant to Cito in the bar, everyone was very polite and professional. The views were extraordinary. We were there at Halloween, and the kids in costumes were delightful. My wife's birthday the next day, they had a cake made for her at breakfast. Molto bene!

Positano is magical.

Positano is magical. Lots of great dining and shopping options. One of my favorite restaurants was Lo Guarracino. I've dined there for dinner all 3 times that I have visited Positano. I highly recommend sitting in the Garden Room, great views and location!

Love Positano, our second time visiting.

Love Positano, our second time visiting. However, very crowded in September and can be overwhelming. Great place for a few days, especially when planning to explore nearby towns, including Capri. One of our favorite restaurants that we returned to on this trip, which is still incredible is Donna Rosa, which is just up the hill from Positano.

Town is most beautiful seen from the sea or a high terrace.

Town is most beautiful seen from the sea or a high terrace. Friendly people. Gets overrun by tourists, even October. Lots of hills and steps, and taxi’s are a flat rate of 35 euros, adds up fast. Better to walk and avoid traffic jams. La Pergola on the beach for pizza, also for spaghetti and clams. Ohima for great vibes and good food. Il Pallazo for special evening. Ferries to visit Amalfi and Ravello. See Capri and ride the chairlift. Relax and have fun.

A wonderful stretch of coastline despite the local drivers!

A wonderful stretch of coastline despite the local drivers! Other main hazard the lack of parking places - particularly appreciative of the private parking space at our house. Despite that, accessible to Pompeii, Amalfi, Ravello, Capri etc. all of which we visited in our four night stay. Particularly good meals at Saraceno d'oro and La Taverna del Leone.

Positano is a total zoo!!!

Positano is a total zoo!!! The alleys are jam-packed with people and lined with shops selling tourist junk. The roads are extremely curvy and hazardous to walk on (shoulders are about 6" wide). Every time I tried to take a bus there were about 4 busloads of people waiting and it was a battle to get on.

This is a family run hotel. It's a short distance from the SITA bus station and the location is very convenient. The host Marie and the whole family are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was homemade, the bacon and the bread are better than those in the 5 star hotels. We had the oranges just picked from the tree, very juicy and fresh. One night we missed our bus and all the restaurants were closed, Maria cooked for us for free. I recommended this hotel to my friends. It was unforgettable experience, thank you Maria and your family.
