We were so fortunate to discover Palazzo Tiglio! John is a wonderful host and the staff throughout our stay were very friendly, helpful and lovely to interact with. The hotel itself is an absolute gem in the tiny town of San Pancrazio. The hotel is known for its fine dining (the chef is amazing), but it was also very convenient for trips to Siena, Florence and Arezzo. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, and the service was really outstanding. Be sure to check out their tips for local sightseeing, wineries and other dining options.

We had an excellent stay in the apartment. The communication with Cristina was very friendly and all our doubts were solved. The apartment is remodeled, so it looks very modern and has a very nice style. The kitchen was very well-equipped, the rooms and bathrooms were clean, there was air conditioning, and there were enough towels for everyone. We arrived easily by car and from there we were able to visit some places in Tuscany such as Siena, Pienza and Montepulciano. Overall, it is very well located. I was really satisfied, and I recommend this apartment for an enjoyable stay in Tuscany.

The property is really well located…so you can visit all the Tuscany with easy. Also the building is authentic and owner Simon is really hard working guy who try to keep it that traditional way. Simon is producing local red wine and olive oil. My kids love the big swiming pool which was build one year ago

Beautiful, rustic place. Very clean. I loved being there.

Beautiful, rustic place. Very clean. I loved being there. The pool was amazing- surrounded by lavender and views of Tuscan hills. We left the windows open at night and there was a little breeze. The only problem was it was extremely hot weather in July and there is no air conditioning and there were no fans. I think ceiling fans could’ve alleviated the heat. I think many Americans would find it too hot in July and August. I loved being surrounded by nature. There is a very long and winding uphill road to get there which was almost one lane. I don’t know if I would’ve felt comfortable driving in or out of this location at night. You must bring your own food as there is no restaurant and the nearest restaurant is about 10 minutes away.
