The pool was excellent. Proximity to the beach and scala dei turchi couldn’t have been better. Maybe 100m to the free entry to the steps to the beach. The receptionist told us about a Tuktuk Driver that would take us to the beach for two euros. The 200 steps to the beach were quite manageable, but it was just as easy to take the tuktuk and walk all along the beach to the scala. Maybe 15 minutes. The rooms were quite big. 114 and 116. They faced the courtyard. Shutter doors kept the glaring heat away. The air conditioner unit worked well. The pool was warm and the loungers comfortable. Exceptional staff.

Such a warm welcome from a wonderful family. The location was perfect for the Scala di Torchi. Only minutes by car. The room was beautiful and very clean. Parking is on the property with security door. Warm weicome from their cats also. We would love to come back here.

Gaetano and Rita the host! They are so warm and welcoming making sure you feel right at home. Since its only bed for the night they even went all the way to provide breakfast and coffee. The room is super clean and comfy and the location is just 700m to the stairs. Very quiet during the night and also a carpark is available at their premises. Make sure you make a booking before you visit the stairs.

It was super fancy, clean, they have swimming pool, 2 full bathrooms, and a super nice cozy terrace where we stayed eating pizza, playing card games and drinking some beers during the night. The hosts were super nice and helpful, always in contact and willing to support. The location is excellent to enjoy nice quiet days with the option to go to the beach or staying at the pool. They also have fully functional kitchen and works perfectly for families or 2 couples of friends as we were.

Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a king suite (Grano) which was lovely and enjoyed the afternoon lounging by the amazing pool. The hotel is in the country so it was extremely peaceful with birds singing and a view of the ocean, olive trees and vineyards. We enjoyed dinner at the property on the terrace. Upon departure we purchased some wine and were given a complementary third bottle to enjoy.

Disappointing, we drove specifically to the city because of...

Disappointing, we drove specifically to the city because of the location it wasn't mentioned anywhere that you need to buy tickets in advance. We arrived at the site at 11:30 in the morning and were told that the sale of tickets had ended and it was not possible to attend the conference. It was really disappointing and there was no service and they didn't explain to us why it ended at such an hour and they didn't treat us and all the people who were there.

A nice place for families. Sandy beaches and calm Shallow waters for the kids. Seeing the Scala de Turchi was amazing though we could not get walk on it as they now have an admission fee 5euro and I could not get tickets for the day, so that was disappointing. I was told the tickets had to be bought in advanced and the website was not user friendly.

Scala dei Turchi is wonderful.

Scala dei Turchi is wonderful. It's nice to sit here and just look at the sea - and you can also take great pictures. The view is fantastic. In nearby Agrimento, the Valley of the Temple is not to be missed - you can spend a day here.

Realmonte was a very local place, with not a lot to offer...

Realmonte was a very local place, with not a lot to offer turists. The beaches are great and the restaurants are mainly at the beach front. There are very little to do in Realmonte, however I do recommend taking a trip to the Vally of Temples, which are very nearby and truely amazing.

There is a problem when you arrive.

There is a problem when you arrive. There was an entrance gate with broken intercom and no one to meet us. I wasn't sure this was the main entrance. I did not understand the email sent during the afternoon describing how to find a key. I telephoned the owners number on Booking.com and was told to ring another number (which didn't work.) Luckily another guest let us in and showed us the key safe and how it worked. Without their help we would be stuck. We wanted to cut short our stay but the owners were lovely the next day and made us feel much better. It was like an episode from TV series 'The Prisoner'! It's a lovely location if you like being remote which we do.

This B&B has been opened for only five years but the place...

This B&B has been opened for only five years but the place looks as if the owner had started his business . The whole place is fresh and greatly maintained. The on-site parking is a +. Our hosts were charming and ready to help. The breakfast was «  ottimo » before taking a relaxing walk to the beach where is the beach front restaurant Maragia… great friendly people.

Very nice apartment, right at the beach, and with 2 big balconies facing both the beach towards the east and Scala Dei Turchi to the west. The location is amazing, and just 15 mins walk on the beach to the Scala, and close to several restaurants. Valley of the temples is less than 20 minutes drive away. Easy and free private parking nearby. The host was very nice and helpful, and communication was easy. We would definitely recommend!

Very beautiful place to stay, the view from the balcony is breathtaking. 8 minutes walking distance from scala dei turchi beach. The host was very nice and sweet and surprised us with a cake to welcome us.
