This was perfect for easy access to Roma Termini. We got off the train from Naples and in 5 minutes we were at the hotel front entrance as the terminal is across the street from the hotel. The metro station is also in Roma Termini so we could conveniently travel to other areas of the city. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good.

Beautiful hotel outside of the city center but perfectly located for public transport. Breakfast was extensive- one of the best we've had in Italy as there's a huge selection that suits travelers from all over. Restaurant was good and there's options for food 24 hours. Staff was super friendly and provided over the top service. special thank you to the gentleman who makes the coffees in the morning.

Be prepared for queues, but they move quickly. Definitely visit all the sights, Vatican, Basilica, Pantheon, Coluseum and Spanish Steps. Trevi Fountain was packed with people you will need to politely find your spot.
Food and drink very reasonably priced. Wonderful fountains, wonderful people. My favourite was the Coluseum, it really brought you back in time. You need to queue first for the tickets, then queue again to enter. It is literally across the road from the metro. The metro is excellent, cheap and always on time. I never felt unsafe.

Rome is a lovely vibrant city with something to look at on every corner. So much culture and lovely restaurants and bars to enjoy. 3 days wasn't long enough to see everything. The metro system is very easy to use and tickets for 24 - 72 hours are available very reasonably priced. Restaurants were all very good value, a meal for 2 with a bottle of wine was around 50 euros.

Rome is indeed worth visiting, though if you can't speak or understand Italian some things can be confusing. The Italian organisational skills leave quite a lot to be desired, some times you feel like it's a lucky guess that saves you from boarding the wrong train. You have to pay tourist tax on top of any hotel payments, beware many restaurants charge a sitting down/service charge...one in particular was extortionate and charged high prices!... The BARCACCIA at the Spanish Steps...You get know advanced warnings...

Rome. Eternal city. What else can I say?
Rome. Eternal city. What else can I say?
Rome and Vatican are stunning cities with unrivaled history. From a single place you can admire architecture more than 2000 years old as well as architecture formed during middle ages.
It was my first visit in 20 years and I can say Rome didn't lost any of its charm.
The only unfortunate thing are wide spread renovations. Don't take me bad - it's great to see the great effort to conserve all the beautiful sights for next generations. But it quite often distracts you from enyoing the experience.

We absolutely loved touring Rome.
We absolutely loved touring Rome. We loved staying at the Relais Bocca di Leone, and the location was perfect just a few blocks from the Spanish Steps. The Restaurants and shopping are fantastic in the area. Walking the area was easy, and taxis were always available if needed.
We visited the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, colosseum, and a lovely local food tour in the Prati area. We also did a day trip South ending at the Almafi Coast.
Our favorite restaurant was Historia located right out our front entrance of the guest house.
We look forward to returning!
This is my second time in Italy and I always liked to stay close to the central station so the location for this hotel is perfect.
The rooms are great, the host left water and other goodies which was such a nice touch! They also have all the facilities you need in the room and they are perfectly clean.
But the main point here is the staff. The host was super friendly and went above and beyond to help. I followed all his recommendations and had a perfect experience in Rome.
I would definitely recommend this place!
My husband and I loved this hotel! We stayed 3 nights and then returned for another 4 nights after traveling to the Cinque Terre region of Italy. The hotel was in a perfect location - the Aventino area is quiet, green, and about a 15 minute walk from the busy sights of Rome. (It is up a hill so be aware of that.) Our room (#830) was beautiful with a huge patio. Breakfast in the courtyard surrounded by orange trees was divine. We will always return to this hotel.
This is definitely a rare find! The staff treated us like we were kings and queens and the bed was extra comfortable and the best part of our stay was the breakfast! In all of my trips to Italy, I have never eaten italian cornetti (croissant) that were that good! I’m always traveling for work and it is the first time that I can say that a hotel is definitely cheaper than what they should actually charge! I really recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Rome!
The very best breakfast i have had in Italy, over the past 7 years of travelling around Italy. The hotel is a very well kept building and has a modern feel to it. The staff are all very helpful and especially the bar tender, who also oversees the dining area - Thank you. The location is not in the center of Rome and its a short bus ride to the nearest Metro station - but the busses & Metro are frequent and easy to use.
Fantastic location, super friendly staff and the place has a very Italy/Boutique vibe to it. It's small, but so are most hotels in Rome. We've stayed in a few different places in Rome, and this was our favorite. It's also close to Termini without being TOO close, which gets a little grimy.
