    The Eternal City charms again.

The Eternal City charms again. Busy for the Jubilee at the Vatican, but away from there and Roma Football ground the city still has its charms. MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Art well worth a trip just to see the building (Zaha Hadid), and the exhibits are top class. On Off bus covers many of the top sights, especially enjoyable in a late autumn evening light.

The city is amazingly cleaner and tidier than the last time we were there 2 years ago. Expect crowds at the "must see" sites, so also visit less busy areas, like Testaccio. The Nuovo Mercato Esquilino is quite amazing and real, while Campo d' Fiori has become mainly tacky souvenir stalls. Salumeria Roscioli and Taverna Volpetti are 2 favourites for food. Trams, buses, and metro are all easy to access, and when the engineering miracle of the new metro C-line is finished, more of the city will be easily accessible. Day trips out of the city to places like Tivoli and Frascati are fun. The "Lungotevere" held along the river in June, is special and romantic.

3 days tour in Rome with my sister.

3 days tour in Rome with my sister. It’s a very romantic city. As every city better to get away the touristic places and do some research to fully experience Rome. Get your most comfortable shoes cause you gonna walk a lot. Even if the city is packed the Buses are pretty efficient but the underground does not cover majority of the City. Anyway the churches and monuments are very well maintained the only thing is to get there early otherwise your gonna wait in line . I fully recommend this place for a loving couple or family trip:) Just be careful of pickpockets, they are everywhere.

i came in large part for the jubilee as a pilgrim, however, i also stayed on for the tour of the major tourist sites and spent 3 weeks in an airbnb initially near the Vatican and finished off in a luxury hotel for 4 nightd at the end to relax after long days on my feet. the jubilee pilgrims did make things very hectic around the Vatican

    A lot to see!

A lot to see! Vatican and Capitoline Museum hosting most famous pieces of art (and other ones present everywhere), famous ancient ruins reminding of the history of Europe, great nightlife in vibrant roman streets full of pizzerias, gelaterias, brasserias. Also amazing nature of surrounding areas as well as sunny beach in Ostia at a distance of 30 mins by relatively cheap train :)

It was a perfect stay at the middle of the historical city of Rome located within 1 km from Colosseum and just over a km from Roma Termini station. Very clean and comfortable room with a balcony and plenty of air and lights. The AC really can cool down the room unlike most of the hotels of Italy. Both room and toilet looked very well maintained. Bonus point was the nice and helpful behavior of the host. She went beyond our expectations with her helpfulness. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful weekend in Rome! It's a family hotel with very friendly and helpful hostesses - Francesca and her mother. The hotel offers stylish and comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need: a fridge, a kettle, a TV. The bed is very comfortable, and the area is quiet. I especially want to mention the delicious homemade breakfast with eggs, yogurt, ham, pastries and coffee, which is quite diverse for Italy. I highly recommend staying at this hotel👍

    - lovely staff (Alberto is great, very helpful and nice) - location is close to train station (easy to get to/from airport) and metro (easy to get to/from most attractions in Rome, and the Termini train station if you plan on visiting other cities in Italy), and a short walk to Vatican - breakfast (yes, it is from the nearby La Siciliana cafe, and yes it is 1 croissant and coffee) is the BEST, it's so good we even went there for things other than breakfast

The staff were wonderful and attentive, providing a relaxing checking in and out experience. The room was superior to all other accommodations I had stayed in Rome and wider Italy in cleanliness, layout and great air-conditioning. The Hotel is excellent value for money.
