Beautiful, artsy, tasteful decor reflecting the history of Samugheo (textile production). Large kitchen (which we did not use much because we only stayed one night). Nice bathroom! There was not another guest when we stayed so we had the place to ourselves which was also very nice. (There are only two bedrooms anyway, I think.) The host was very nice and very responsive. She even gave us some fresh bread on our way out! And was flexible in allowing us an earlier check in than we originally told her. I would definitely stay here again. Samugheo is beautiful and the square is a short walk away.

Located in the heart of Sardinia, this is a great place to stop on your road trip. The B&B is located in a cute and quiet little village. There are a few national parks in the area and some vineyards. It's an hour away from Cagliari so it's a great stop if you're road tripping from north to south or vice versa. Simona the host- was incredibly hospitable and kind. I informed her of our dietary restrictions beforehand and she got soy milk especially for us for breakfast. The b&b itself was very clean, comfortable and having breakfast in the garden was the perfect way to start our day. There are also cats which is a nice bonus!

We had a very peaceful stay mid August. Especially during the weekdays there was barely anyone around, we could just chill out by the pool alone. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we got free fruit and water a couple of times at the pool. There's a great walk from the hotel to the nearby town of Laconi and other hiking opportunities. We booked literally on the day of our arrival (our original seaside hotel turned out to be a dump, so we cancelled there without ever checking in) and having a rental car was very useful as we could still go to some beaches 1-1,5 hours drive away. You can have high quality dinner most of the time at the hotel for 35eur/person, organized on WhatsApp - or there's a bunch of places in Laconi. We can recommend Su stunnu pizzeria. Breakfast was good at the hotel.

The accommodation is easy to find, easy parking down the street, the hosts of very responsive, and supportive. The room itself is decorated with Sardinian tapestry made in the region and is beautiful. The design of the room accommodates all of a travellers needs; hooks for jackets, hooks for towels, area for opening luggage, water in the fridge, coffee and tea, a seating area. Everything was clean and very very comfortable. The property is surrounded by a beautiful succulent garden and seating areas outside. Located very close to everything in the centre of town, it is possible to walk to the shops, museum and winery. Definetly one of the most delightful stays we have ever had. Thanks Jasmin and the staff at Holiday Madrolisai!!!! 🥰. One note, if you would like the opportunity to visit the La Dolce Vigna, make the effort to book ahead of your visit. Also, do not miss the MAMA, La Robbia and a meal at Al Vecchio Mulino.
