Hotel Laurin, housed in a beautiful Art Nouveau style villa from the early 20th century, is located just 5 minutes’ walk from Salo town centre on Lake Garda. No wonder Mussolini commandeered this place, absolute Art Noveau gem with the highest levels of service and a top notch restaurant. Located a few minutes walk from the lake front at Salo with ample safe parking and a small pool. If you're going to Salo you should stay here.

The room / bathroom very clean & more than big enough. Food is excelent including a very large breakfast. The situation is great for discovering the lake and to wander around the little town which is quite pleasant. Very good value for money.

The Olivi is a 2-star hotel set along Via Gardesana, 2 km from Salò, and 500 metres from the bus stop connecting with Brescia. I'd chosen this hotel cause it has free spacious parking. But I couldn't even imagine that this roadside hotel would be the best place for stay during our trip in Italy! The owner makes all his best to ensure the comfortable stay of all guests of his hotel. Lift (!) brought us to the nice room with Garda lake' view. The hotel has its own restaurant where we had delicious dinner with brown trout for reasonable prices. Most of all we were amazed at the breakfast with a wide variety of foods, fruits and homemade pastries. Grazie mille!
