Villa was absolutely awesome. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great. View is incredible. Food, both dinner and breakfast were very very nice. Highly recommended as a place to stay, base your travels from and come back to in the evenings. Drinks on the terrace were a lovely way to end our day.

Surrounded by the Tuscan countryside and the Chianti hills, Hotel Di Sor Paolo is in San Casciano in Val Di Pesa. It offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Location, landscape, staff availability
With a panoramic location in the Chianti wine area, Villa Mangiacane dates back to the 16th century. It offers views over the Tuscan countryside, vineyards and Florence. Great restaurant, big room, the view!
The Chianti Promotion Hotel Calzaiolo is a small hotel created of an old farmhouse. Located a 10-minute drive from the center of Florence, amid the Chianti wine area, in the Tuscan hills. Antoinette, the owner, and her daughter's were so hospitable and made us feel right at home.
Getting there was stressful. Then the staff were wary; not overly warm or welcoming. Wished I had access to making my own tea and coffee in the mornings instead of having to ask for it once the owner (?) woke up. Mammarosa's restaurant was next door opening at lunch--EXCELLENT cuisine, medium priced. Nearby there are easy nature trails for walking. Also meeting in the AM for hot air balloon rides was right near by. But no grocery or other restaurants close to the hotel and felt limiting. Town is 4km and not a safe walk on the windy narrow road. Getting to this hotel from Florence was a feat on a holiday (that we didn't plan on). Ended up taking a taxi for 47 euros instead of the bus. But we were able to bus back to Florence for 3 euros pp. Unless you drive, save yourself the headache.
It's in a great location for a day trip to drive to Florence, Siena, Pisa, Arezzo or many spots in Tuscany. It's has a small town feel but not too small. Beautiful hill sides and the people are charming.
Walks around the grounds were great. We went into the town of San Casciano which was lovely and wandered through the morning markets and shops. We had a car so it was easy to get around. A day trip in to Florence is a must if you didn't spend any time there before arriving.
This is a beautiful town, a good base for exploring.. The villa (il Fedino) is wonderful ( and we've stayed at many villas/chateaus and luxurious hotels).. Very good restaurant, Cinque Di Vino is excellent, great service, excellent food and staff.. Olive oil and wine tasting around the area..
Beautiful country side. We visited a nearby wine and olive oil farm "Terre Di Perseto" where we were given a tour of the factory and a brief on how their wines and olive oil is manufactured. Jessica Hayoz was very courteous and even treated us to wine and olive oil tasting experience.

Breathtaking views of the countryside. Vineyards right at the property and wonderful wine available for sale by the bottle. Charming old villa---Machiavelli's homesite, so you could imagine that he was gazing at the same views when writing his famous treatises 500 years ago. Very friendly proprietor (once we met him the next day) and great breakfast. Drive into Florence was quick and easy, perhaps only 20 minutes. Hard to believe we were so close to a major city, as the inn was so remote, tranquil and beautiful!

The setting was beautiful and I can imagine it is more so in the Spring and Summer when the pool is open. A short walk to the local restaurant up the hill was a welcome surprise since we were too tired to drive into town for dinner. The staff was amazing: so helpful in advising us how to get into Florence and prepared an amazing breakfast including homemade yogurt and some of their last fresh figs.

This was our most wonderful hotel experience in Italy. Perched high in the Tuscan hills, the secenery is unbeatable, the food AMAZInG Fresh and scrumptious, staff was warm and welcoming, booked us bikes in an instant delivered to hotel, incredible cocktails served poolside. Everything was perfect and would recommend this hotel to everybody, but best if have rental or own car.

The hotel is an oasis of relaxation and tranquility. Particularly after a day of hustle and awesome impressions in Florence. The location is just wonderful. So is the building and so are the rooms. Very friendly staff, excellent kitchen and good amenities. Like sipping from a glass of wine and watching sunset over the grapevines on the terrace. We will be back.

Antoinette, the owner, and her daughter's were so hospitable and made us feel right at home. There is a fantastic organic winery at the top of their street and if you go on a balloon ride it launches right down the road. Great experience and very conveniently located right across from a bus stop. Loved it!. Restaurant on site very convenient.

The surrounding of the hotel is breathtaking. You're in the middle of the Tuscan hills, so you can see the sunset and the sunrise. The staff was very friendly, especially in the morning and the room was clean (cleaned everyday) and nicely decorated. We got a complementary upgrade and had our own little Terrasse where we could enjoy the sunset.

The location and the property as such was lovely; two amazing pools, the staff very friendly and the breakfast superb; hotel offered us the drinks from dinner when we complained about the cleanliness of the bath in our room; the wine from their own vineyard is very good; overall it’s a little gem but could do with some more attention to detail

This property is really beautiful. If you want to feel the Tuscan countryside this is the ideal place. All attraction in Tuscany is within app 1 hour drive. But save time for sitting and relaxing and looking and feeling. The hospitality is also perfect. We didn't feel like a hotel. It's more like a home. Thanks for the staff!

The Villa is part of a huge vineyard located just about 30 minutes drive from both Firenze and Siena. It has well maintained and well equipped large rooms. We stayed during the off season in January and got a phenomenal deal for a two-bedroom suite with a couple of wine bottles from the winery and a free tour of the winery.

Everything! This place is simply amazing! Little piece of heaven on earth. Since we travel a lot, and have seen many amazing places so far, I can sat that this is part of Tuscany is by far the best wr have seen so far. Please have in mind that we came to Tuscany a day after our trip to Maldives, when I thought there is nothing that could amaze me more :). The property is a jewel! Its position, the view, surroundings! Alice is a jewel too, she is amazing and so kind and funny, smart and she gave us best recommendations for places to see, where to eat etc. And speaking od eating the breakfast was delicious, simple but perfect with organic cherry fresh orange juice and homemade jams! Alice makes best capucino :) I could go on more and more like this but the point is, if you plan visiting Tuscany this is perfect accomodation for you! You won’t regret it!

Set in the heart of Tuscany..lovely villas, beyond expectation! Felt like walking straight into a movie set..vineyard, olives, rustic villas with well selected antiques spread around the sprawling property..so in love with La Loggia. Special mention to Ivana who patiently waited for us as we arrived late from our long drive from Amalfi coast. When he learned that we haven't had the chance to grab dinner and one family member was car sick, she prepared one for us and spared some of her own family cooked hot soup!..we will surely come back and stay longer next time.
