The location of the apartment was very good. The hostess provided us with bicycles, which we used to tour the beautiful scenery. The apartment was large and comfortable. We were provided with ingredients to prepare breakfast and, furthermore, fruits and goodies. The owner was very friendly and welcoming 🙏 I highly recommend this property

Very nice agriturismo. On a farm with cows and calves, also a few cute and friendly dogs, some chickens, etc. It was alfalfa cutting time while we were there, and they were hard at work cutting the hay. It is a real working dairy farm and you can walk around to see the cows. There are several bikes of different sizes that you can use there to explore. The view of the surrounding mountains is just spectacular. There are chaise lounges where you can lay and just look at the mountains. The breakfast is huge and fresh and amazing--coffees and tea, yogurt (fresh from the farm, apple cake, cookies, fruit, fresh juice, cooked egg, cereals, bread, jam, butter, etc, all on your table for you. Room was comfortable and shower was nice. The building where we slept/ate is a historical postal stop from an era ago, I think for Italy/Switzerland. There are several rooms with historical artifacts and photos. Very charming. You can buy their dairy products on site from a vending machine (milk, yogurt, desserts, etc.), or also in town. Very easy check-in/check-out procedures. Short drive to Lake Como or Chiavenna. Also easy to access St. Mortiz, if you want.

Our stay in Mountain View House was absolutely amazing. 3 key highlights: 1. Our host, Caroline was wonderful! She supported us with lot of value added recommendations/tips and her hospitality made our travel experience better. Many thanks, Caroline! We are grateful! 2. Location is superb surrounded by the mountains. The accomodation and the pictures reflect the reality - the views and the house has even more to offer,grater that a photo capture. We were positively surprised and impressed by the views and by the amenities! 3. Overall our stay was very pleasant: the house, the mountains, Valchiavenna alpine valley area is lika a fairytale and the nature is extremely rich in attractions (waterfalls, city center, proximity to Switzerland, lot of opportunities to spend time in the middle of the nature, but having also very close all the urban facilities)
