Nice and very quiet location. No other buildings around, just the woods for kilometers. The hotel has been renovated recently and it is spotless clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Al Merlo Bianco seems too wonderful to be true. The staff, the location, the price, the hotel decor, the restaurant on the terrace overlooking the Devil's Bridge, the overall hospitality are all superb. Simone was full of sparkly kindness. He parked our car in the free public lot, he upgraded our room when we had a problem with the air conditioning, and ran the osteria with smiling efficiency. We ate all our meals on the terrace and immensely enjoyed the food, view and atmosphere and had great chats with Max, the server. Compliments to the chef for the delicious menu. Every room is beautifully and eclectically decorated. The Vittorio Podrecca marionette museum was a fun discovery. Cividale del Friuli is a lovely town to wander around. I would highly recommend this place.

I thought the house would be quite narrow, but it didnt bother me at all. With washing machine and equipped kitchen, also possible for longer stay. Excellent location!

Warm personal welcome, pickup on the parking lot and introduction to the apartments. Very nice smell in the building and the apartments. Tasty and beautiful decorations, creative rooms setup. Perfectly working A/C. Cozy terrace with small fountain. Tranquille at night. Generous tasty breakfast with lots of extras. Great stay, great value, definitely wholeheartedly recommend staying here, would not hesitate a second to come a again!!! One of the gems!!!

This is really an exceptional place - just a few guest rooms in a place that has once been a monastery. The rooms have been nicely and tastefully adapted and furnished. Beds are comfy. Breakfast is rich and excellent. We greatly enjoyed the host's tour of the house, including the church of the former monastery, and the large garden with its imaginative surprises.

The bed and breakfast is about a 20 minute walk outside of Civedale del Friuli, which I very much appreciated for the stay. The breakfast was amazing, the hosts were outstandingly friendly, and given the whole experience I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Great garden, and nice to relax here too. They also had some space for our bikes, which was also very much appreciated. Next time I will have to plan to stay here for a few of nights, and explore the closer region more. Absolutely fantastic hosts.
