The rooms were immaculate—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with large, luxurious bathrooms. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, and the stunning views from the property were truly breathtaking. Waking up to Maria’s perfect breakfast, featuring fresh and local ingredients, was a delightful way to start each day. What truly set this experience apart was Maria herself. She went above and beyond in every way—introducing us to friendly locals, guiding us on a fascinating tour of the castle, and even accompanying us on a shopping trip. Her dinner recommendations and suggestions for local sights were spot-on and enriched our experience of this beautiful town. Located conveniently close to the motorway, B&B L’Antica Balbia is an ideal stop for anyone traveling through Southern Italy. But honestly, it’s much more than just a stop—it’s a destination in its own right. We fell in love with both Maria’s stunning B&B and her kindhearted hospitality. Room (mini suite) was extremely clean, very large, modern styling - newly renovated. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom setup. Breakfast room is also perfectly clean, spacious, and lovely. Solid flooring throughout (no carpet), which was all exceptionally clean and new looking. Rooftop terrace area is also wonderful. Every personal space and shared space was better than expected.
