Wonderful sense of hospitality and a property kept with love! Vivienne and Manu are lovely and very helpful and the night manager makes a great G&T 😉. Pretty and calm location close to the center. Excellent breakfast with local produce. Loved every moment!

    Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Portofino. Relaxed and laidback. Promenade with lots of restaurants. Great beach. Ferry or bus to other villages. Feels Italian, not as pricey and touristy as Portofino.

    Lovely little coastal town.

    Lovely little coastal town. We had two nights here which was just the right amount. The highlight was the beautiful coastal walk to Portofino and we then took the ferry back to see the coastline from the sea. The town has some lovely restaurants and cafes and some beautiful but pricey boutiques.

    Santa Margherita is a lovely pretty Italian Town.

    Santa Margherita is a lovely pretty Italian Town. The train station is in the centre to enable further adventures in the area. Cinque Terra is forty minutes away by train and Portofino is accessible by ferry or approximately an hours walk.

    Very nice hotel in a good position.

    Very nice hotel in a good position. Short walk to the beach, buses and ferry’s. Hotel is on a hill so expect an uphill walk back from town but it is quite easy (I’m 73). Lots of bars and restaurants in the centre. Bus (or walk for the energetic) to portofino. I was there in march so most ferry’s were not running only one to and from Portofino.

    A bustling town full of character with a long promenade to explore. Ferries go regularly to both Portofino and Cinque Terre but its also nice to walk the coastal path around to Portofino. Lots of restaurants and bars, Caffe du Port is very good for trying local cuisine.

    Pros: Good location , not far from the city .

    Pros: Good location , not far from the city . Nice interior and it's remodeled. Fair price Cons: 1- The host didn't reply to my messages .I got a message for the checkin , and the check out and ignore completely my 2 messages . When I arrived they had a foldable bed , when I opened it it didn't have any sheets on it . I was expecting to have white bed sheets , and covers like the one in the bedroom bed .I've sent a message to the host , but they didn't reply the whole stay. The day before the checkout , I've asked if I can get a late checkout , instead of checking out at 10 Am , also ignored my message , and never received any replies. 2- The parking is very very tight and is on the next street . It was a bit of a puzzle to find the parking and the keys , even though he had a video showing it . Which kinda helped but was still a puzzle :) 3- The train passes right by the appartment , luckily noise does not bother me , but I won't recommend it if someone is a light sleeper.

    Outstanding Location for this hotel - right on the marina at Santa Margherita. Lots of cafes and bars nearby. Easy access to the ferry terminal. Our room was clean but small, however we had a lovely balcony overlooking the waterfront and a good sized walk-in shower. Buffet breakfast was included in our tariff and was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you :)

    The location was excellent. As we travelled by car the hotel provided parking fo a fee. Once unloaded the car was taken to a parking spot and on checkout brought to our room for loading the luggage. The tasty macarons in our room was a pleasant touch. We were in walking distance to town , beach, ferry. The hotel also provided suggested restaurants and bars for Santa Margherita and Potofino.

    I loved staying at this characterful and charming hotel. (I've read reviews of the rooms feeling dated; personally I loved my jade green bathroom suite!). Gorgeous views of the sea from my bedroom. Really warm welcome from everyone who worked there. Easy 15 minute walk from Santa Margherita station, and a short walk to the town and beach too.

    The standard of the accommodation is top rate. The view from the patio is one of the reasons British folk come to Italy. Out the front door is a grocery shop, a bar and a restaurant. Good bus service to Portofina. Would definitely come again.😁😁😁
