Set just 66 feet from the coast and a pebble-stone beach, Hotel Santa Marina features a furnished terrace and spacious air-conditioned rooms. Wi-Fi is free in all public areas. This was very well located in Santa Marina. The owner (I'm sorry I've forgotten your name!) was absolutely lovely and very helpful. She explained the history of the Aeolian Islands to me and it's connection to Australia. She even made us two breakfast bags for the ferry because we were going to miss breakfast! So kind. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. We had a great view of the islands as well.

Just 164 feet from Punta Barone beach, I Cinque Balconi is 656 feet from the port on the island of Salina. It features air-conditioned rooms and a large garden with lemon trees. Breakfast was lovely and served in the most gorgeous setting - in a garden surrounded by lemon trees . The hotel is in a beautiful old building, which has been meticulously renovated and incorporates the blending of old with new comfort to perfection. So much character and history abounds, but also, so quietly stylish.

Featuring Eolian-style architecture, Hotel Mama Santina is set in several houses with terrace, balcony or patio. The resort offers views of Lipari, Panarea and Stromboli islands, and a free-form pool.... Design of the hotel is impressive and our room was so beautiful! We could feel that every detail was made with heart and soul. Staff is very nice, they organized a transfer to hotel and back to the port, even the location is close. Another jewel of this place is a restaurant with delicious cuisine. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Located on the sea promenade in Santa Marina Salina, Hotel Punta Barone offers rooms with air conditioning. Guests can enjoy spectacular full views of the Mediterranean Sea from the shared sun... This was a wonderful place. We had a very nice room with a little balcony and a panoramic view of the sea, Stromboli and Panarea. It was immaculate. There are several terraces. You can always find sun or shade. The delicious breakfast was served in a room with a view in all directions. The hotel has a great location on the edge of town. Completely quiet except for the sounds of the sea but an easy 10 minute walk along the water from the ferry. The host was very friendly and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer.

A traditional Eolian building on the Island of Salina, B&B Le Sette Vele Da Riccardo offers air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. It lies about 656 feet from Santa Maria Salina's beach. Giancarlo and his wife were friendly, kind, and extremely helpful. We truly felt welcome. The accommodations are comfortable, and the location is near the port and favored with a magnificent view. The architecture of the building is beautiful and unusual, and the story of the hospitality sector on the island, which Giancarlo related to us, is highly interesting. My wife and I think it’s a great place to stay.

B&B La Goletta di Salina is located on the beach in Santa Marina Salina. It features elegant rooms with hand-painted tiles and free WiFi. There are also a shared terrace with sea views, and a garden. Breakfast was great. Simona was a wonderful host, she helped us translate Italian. Perfect location, a quick walk to restaurants but far enough out of the way so you don't hear the people. Ferries are frequent and drop off 10 minute walk away from the BnB.

With Beach of Santa Marina reachable in a 7-minute walk, Halgoduria provides accommodations, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and a bar. The accommodations feature a hot tub. Beautiful room, there was basically no window, but it did not matter as there is plenty outside lounging space, very clean, nice swimming spot with ladder into the sea. Lady from the cafe was really helpful and made my stay even better, thank you!

Salina is one of the most beautiful Aeolian Islands. It is well reputed for Malvasia wine and capers. The scenery is fantastic and the island offers good possibilities for a nice holiday. There are good walking opportunities, a reliable bus service, great cafes and restaurants and some nice shops.
It’s simply wonderful - just the right balance of leisure, shops, restaurants, not too overcrowded (early September) so strolling around is very pleasant. Lots of trips and activities, friendly people. This is my second visit and I would highly recommend it
Beautiful town on the island of Salina. We wished we planned our holiday so that we had a lot longer on this island. The pace of life is much more laid back in comparison to the main land of Sicily. It’s an ideal spot to base yourself if you want to explore the other islands too. We rented a scooter one day and explored the island - it was one of the best things we did in our whole holiday - it would be worth renting one for you whole stay. There are lots of lovely restaurants all around the island and lots of lovely spots to explore too.
What can I say about Salina that has not already been written? Stay at Hotel Punta Barone in Maria Santa Salina and have delicious, quiet dinner at 'nni Lausta. Get a bus schedule and ride around (but not in the front, where locals chat with the driver). Go to spectacular Pollara (location of "Il Postino"), with a Hitchcockian ride down the twisting road to the village. After you down to the beach and back up again, relax with a drink at L'Oasi. Head to Malfa (the largest town and transit center), with beautiful little streets, and have a granito at the town center while you wait for your next bus. for panoramic views of the entire island chain, hike up Monte Fosse della Felci. Ride down to Lingua for a delicious lunch at A La Cannata. See the beautiful seafront desert park at Rinella. You will have a wonderful time.
We enjoyed being near the ocean and how peaceful it was, after the pace of Palermo. We ate at porto bella - very nice and the shops provided all we needed for other meals. The ferry service can be nterrupted with bad weather, so watch the forecasts.
Santa Marina Salina
The location was excellent, a short walk from the port and the main part of the town for restaurants and shopping in a quiet location. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast every morning was excellent (the freshly baked apple cake was so delicious!), and the host family and staff were all really helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again (for longer and in a room with a terrace next time) and will happily recommend this property to any of our family and friends who visit Santa Marina Salina in the future.
Santa Marina Salina
We had the best stay at Sunrise B&B. Very nice room and also very cosy common areas. The place has the most beautiful view of the ocean, Santa Marina Salina and the vulcanos and we enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace overlooking it all. The staff was extremely kind, helpful and accommodating and answered all of our questions. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again one day :)
Punta Barone is a fantastic hotel, we loved our room with a beautiful view on Stromboli and Panarea. We woke up in the morning to see the sunrise in front of our window and in the evening we sat down on the long chairs on the terrace to feel the breeze. Angela (the owner) is lovely and gave us all info, she was there all the time we need it. We really love this place!
Friendly staff, cute breakfast on balcony overlooking the sea, and we were upgraded for free to a room with a small balcony and view of the sea which was highly appreciated and thoughtful. Great boutique-hotel style with quaint touches and design. Great location and easy stroll to all the restaurants, bars and shops.
They can pick you up from the port to take you to the hotel and drop you off as well. They have a beautiful pool and excellent lunch and dinner. The room was nice and clean and the view was excellent. Love the hammock too.
A nice and cosy hotel. The personal was very kind and helpfull. Nice rooms with a relatively large balconies, clean pool with a good view, good location with silence all day and a lively street down the hill.
location is great, perfectly located in the heart of S.Marina in Salina. Easy to get anywhere. Very handy also the closeness to the bbeaches...few min walks away.
