The ocean is steps away. We were there off season so many things were closed. Come a little later in April. Restaurants around our BB opened after 7 , se we ventured a little further and found options open prior to 7.

This was a pleasant place to spend a few days before taking a cruise from Civitiveccia which is just one rail stop away. Winter temperatures were excellent for walking around the resort and visiting adjacent towns by rail. Fantastic place and people!
Fantastic place and people! Lovely terrace overlooking the beach , very good breakfast and wonderful hosts . Lots of restaurants and bars nearby and shops easy walking distance . They even brought us to the airport at the end of our stay at a very reasonable price, stay here if you can and get the terrace room for a fantastic holiday !

The hosts were wonderful.
The hosts were wonderful. The room was great for a night or two. Located close to beach. The small fridge was appreciated. The pool was refreshing after a long day on the road... more of a large soaking pool with attached jet tub. Lots of outdoor seating and lovely second floor terrace. Santa Marinella has a lovely beach and some very good restaurants. They are mostly seafood restaurants but we did find a couple that had some exceptional meat dishes. We went at the end of April/beginning of May so it was fairly quiet during the day and suited us very well for our first holiday since lockdown. It was lively at night with beach parties and the usual aperitivo time. A lovely custom. Our favourite places to eat; L’Oste alla Brace (incredible steakhouse) we went twice, ll Bettolino (fabulous seafood) Sapori Di Mare (seafood, try all the Antipasti they are amazing)Malcolm WUnited Kingdom

The room that we hade was with a nice balcony and it was big. It was for three people but we were only two. The balcony is nice but it needs some touch up. The room and the bathroom was nice and big but also needs a bit of a touch up. The breakfast was nice. Not a big selection but enough and it was nice to sit close to the sea eating your breakfast there. Parking was also free and that was nice.PatweisSweden

Only 7 minutes by foot to Santa Marinella Beach and 9 minutes to railway station, where you also can take a train to Santa Severa (bach with castle on it) only for 1€ and 40 minutes to Rome by train. Too many restaurants close. We recommend Mare E Sole (acceptable prices and delicious food full of seafood). The owner of the apartment is so friendly and helpful, always in contact. The apartment is so clean and comfortable. Definitely we will come back here. 😊AAnonymousPoland
