It's a quiet village.

It's a quiet village. You can stroll through its streets admiring the mountain scenery. It's autumn, and there are few people around. Only the permanent residents, who are very friendly. The town hall tries to find a solution for whatever you need. There are few shops, but the owners are very kind. The pizzeria is very good and a popular meeting place on these cold days.

This is a fascinating little hotel, beginning with it's name, "Beer Hotel", and located in the beautiful hills just off the autostrada from Genoa to Turin. It's an elegant building on the site of a defunct brewery which was reopened in the 1990s as a craft brewing operation. You can get their beer at a restaurant they run right opposite the hotel. The hotel rooms are fine and good value, and the staff are charming.

Enrico in reception was fantastic and sorted out everything for us so quickly. The room was tidy and traditional Italien and very clean. The recommendation to eat at the brewery restaurant just across from the hotel was ideal for our short stay. Super close to the motorway got the trip home but out of busy Genoa. The lady who served breakfast was also so nice and friendly

The hotel had Avery personal touch to it, you can feel the owners put a lot of attention to the details. I liked the overall ambience. The breakfast was served to you, not a buffet, you just ask them and they give you as much as you want.
