Terre D'Orcia is set in Val d'Orcia, at the foot of Monte Amiata. This family-run inn offers individually decorated rooms, a garden with playground, and a restaurant serving home-cooked meals. The location was excellent to visit the Val d'Orcia by car. The breakfast was abundant and varied, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The view from the room over the valley was quite energising in the morning.

Hotel Ristorante La Scottiglia is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Seggiano town center. It offers classic-style accommodations, a traditional restaurant with bar and a garden with sun terrace. An unexpected fantastic experience. The staff were wonderful and the restaurant was amazing. From the welcome at the bar to the food, wine and service at the restaurant, all was wonderful. Book in advance for the restaurant as it was fully booked out the night we were there and turning customers away.

We arrived late at 10pm and were still treated to the most amazing home cooked Italian dinner and wine. The hosts were so kind to accommodate and checked in with us frequently. The views from the front porch were like paintings.

Set in the countryside, Bellavista is 10 minutes’ drive from Seggiano town center. This organic farm offers an outdoor pool and a garden. An Italian breakfast is provided daily. The location is beautiful. Extra ordinary view. Nice flowers and trees everywhere. Well kept. Staff is very friendly. Nice big swimming pool. Decor is authentic and tastful and decorated with attention. Also nice for children because of the animals. Some cats. A few dogs. Who you can find in the garden. Furthermore two donkeys. Some sheep and horses. And 2 beautiful pigs. The animal house is seperated from the house. You can just visit if you like. A 2 minute walk. Nice location to visit some villages like Pienza. Santa Monte Fiore. Montalcino. Montepulciano. Bagno de vignone. Bagno de san Philipe. And 1.5 hour from Sienna. This is really a place I would love to visit again in the future. Car is needed. To go around
