CanadaSo many wonderful things to say! Firstly, Luigi (the owner) is the best host we’ve ever encountered. He was welcoming, kind and a great person to talk to. Breakfasts were great. Location is great! 5 minutes to the beach/restaurants on the beach/ferry dock and a quick walk to the tourist-walking-zone area. The suite had ample room, a kitchen and a big bathroom.

United KingdomThe hotel property owners were the smiliest and most accommodating people. The location is in the heart of the old town of Castiglione del Lago so <30 second access to bars/restaurants. Breakfast was a real highlight, amazing selection of italian pastries and sandwiches with fresh coffee served. Driving up to the hotel you go through the old gates of Castiglione which was a squeeze but the hosts were there to help and accordingly sort our parking. A hotel with old world Italian charm.

United StatesIt’s an Walking distance to train station and a few restaurants. Longer walk to old city but very doable, if you’re good with walking. The restaurants in the castle/old city were really nice with fantastic views. We loved the sunset from the castle. The hotel Staff is great, they are cheerful and helpful. Rooms are pretty nice, breakfast is continental but the make nice coffee. We rented e-bikes and biked the entire lake which was a highlight.
