What a gem! Just 10 minutes from Lecce and around 40 minutes from many of the region’s coastal treasures, this place is a true oasis. Peaceful gardens and a lovely pool surround modern rooms, each with charming vaulted ceilings that add character. Breakfast is self-serve in the farmhouse next to the rooms, with fresh fruit, pastries and cereals on offer, along with the option to request eggs and coffee. A special thank you to Alice for her warm smile and outstanding service, such a delightful person.

Arriving at Damiano and Simonetta's place, it was as if we had entered a fairy tale of Southern Italy. Everything became reality - hospitality, warmth, abundance... Without even realizing it, we were partying in the town square with the hosts and the townspeople in the first hour, with excellent wine, food and company. For breakfast, the table was set with homemade pastries and so much more... We had mentioned the day before that we would like to buy oil and wine directly from producers, and of course the hosts had chosen the best places for us and they even went with us to introduce us to the producers. And this was not all, I had mentioned that I really would like to eat pasta with sea urchin and of course a restaurant was found where I could enjoy the food I had been longing for! Thank you very much for all this care!

Everything about our stay and time at Allesandro’s B&B will be forever etched into our hearts and memories. From the lovely and spacious room, the variety of delicious and creative breakfast each morning made and served by Alessandro , the beautiful pool and garden area, and Alessandro himself. Such a kind, generous and peaceful man that made our stay the best. He went above and beyond from making dinner reservations for us, to helping us plan out our itinerary, and provided everything we needed. During our stay the parking was not a problem and usually available in front or near his place. Only 10 minutes from Lecce, and the town square in Surbo is a short walk from the B&B. Highly recommend Alessandro’s beautiful, creative and artistic place!
