The 90 minutes in this fantastic spa was almost worth more than the room itself! Includes saltwater swimming pool, mineral hot tub, freshwater whirlpool, wet and dry saunas, ice tray, scented showers, a weird room where you can lie on salt crystals, and more. The room was also wonderful with a beautiful big shower and balcony, plus the free breakfast buffet was very good. The town is cute too, accessible by train, not much to do but we took a pleasant 4 hour hike around local ruins (very sunny!). It was so relaxing after weeks of hectic travel that we stayed an extra day.

Tabiano is a very small, quiet town that is ideal to all...

Tabiano is a very small, quiet town that is ideal to all those people and travellers who seek for relaxation and peacefullness. Tabioano is embellished by the homonymous castle, which is a private house today, and can be visited only accompanied by a tour guide. Its ufficial website (www.castelloditabiano.com) states that "a tour of the castle lasts about 45 minutes and crosses the most fascinating places of the manor: the ancient vaulted cellars, the wonderful halls decorated with stucco and frescoes, the grand staircase, the panoramic terraces". Entry fees: Adults: € 10,00 Children 8-12 years, Passport Castles of the Duchy and Parma Card: € 9,00 The entrance ticket also includes the guided tour. In the small town of Tabiano there are not many options where to go to eat lunch or dinner; for more options check the nearby towns of Salsomaggiore Terme and Fidenza.

The spa is excellent for all respiratory ailments...truly effective. The town doesn't offer much in terms of events and attractions, but Salsomaggiore and Fidenza are a short distance away...much more lively.

Excellent location and views, excellent breakfast, starting point for many mountain bike trails, excursions to Salsomaggiore Terme, Brescello (filming location for Don Camillo and Peppone), the Po Valley with its beautiful cycle paths, Parma, etc., helpful staff for cleaning bikes! Good, freshly prepared food at "Oskar"! When using a GPS navigation system, be careful not to take the shorter route, especially for "sensitive" cars.

Tabiano is a perfect place for those who want to unwind and relax for a couple of days. I recommend the spa (reservation required) and a visit to the castle. Walking up from the spa to the castle offers a beautiful view.

Lovely hotel in a lovely setting. Breakfast very nice in the courtyard. Can't comment on restaurant as the one night we stayed they had a pizza night which was just 'pizza' and unfortunately there was a large party booked in so hence very busy, but we had a nice experience. Room a little basic, but nothing we didn't expect or have complaints about.

This hotel is a very good-value-for money option. It is an ideal place for all those who travel solo, with own partner, or family. The hotel does not serve breakfast in its premises; however, just 2 minutes walk down the road there is a bar open that offers hot bevarages and crossaints to enegize ownself for the day ahead. Its prices are fair.

from the outside the hotel is refurbished and cosy, has nice green area with swimming pool, sauna, laces for rest. many terraces, the receptionists are helpful - be aware that it seems they speak Italian and French only. there is an option to pay for extra breakfast and it's nice (not only sweet things which is rare in Italy).

This is a very comfortable hotel. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The pool is well maintained and there is ample room to relax. The pool bar serves drinks and lunches. Breakfast is typical Italian hotel breakfast and staff are happy to make fresh coffee as you need it. We really enjoyed our stay.
