A family-run hotel for 3 generations, this excellent hotel/restaurant is in top shape, with clean, modern rooms and bathrooms. The family is very welcoming, and we enjoyed the delicious homemade food: fresh pasta dishes, desserts, good breakfast and cappuccino. We had cocktails on the sunny veranda. The location is stunning: beautiful and quiet. It’s a 45 minutes drive from the train that goes to Cinque Terre. After all the crowds, it’s great to retreat to Tavarone. We will stay longer next time.

unique property that is located in a convenient location for access to Cinque Terre. Moneglia is a quant town that is a nice contrast to the busy tourist towns of Cinque Terre. I would highly recommend Abbadia San Giorgio. Also. the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, first rate.

We spent the last night of a working holiday here, and I only wish we would have found it earlier! What a lovely, relaxed, authentic experience! The hosts couldn't have been more kind of accommodating! We were even treated to a massive treat, which was their HOMEMADE RAVIOLI (and that was just the 1st course!) all followed by their HOMEMADE GRAPPA! I have never loved grappa before, but this was delicioso! And be sure to take a walk the entire area is beautiful. The walk up the steps and through the village was also enjoyable. The rooms are "retro" furnished, clean as can be, and thr covered porch would be a lovely place to relax on a warm day ans evening. What a treasure!
