Tuelada is a small but charming town in the hills above several really wonderful beaches. There are a few good restaurants and a great corner cafe for drinks and snacks, a couple of grocery stores, pharmacy, Bakery and beach shop. Teulada and its surrounding mountains and coastline are as beautiful as any in Europe. The town itself is only slowly awakening to the requirements of the tourist, menus in the ristoranti are fairly basic although the tuna, swordfish, sea bass are fresh and fabulous. There is little difference in the various trattoria but friendliness shines through. The supermarkets hold most of the necessities of life and the takeaway G&T at €2.10 for 250ml is worth going back for. Take care at the filling stations the SELFseerve side of the pumps is 17cents a litre cheaper that the "Assistance" side where someone holds the pump! The small beach 3 min walk from the place is very private, a nice place to chill and relax. The house is well equipped, we had everything we needed. Contact with the host was great. It is in a beautiful location with stunning views of Tuerredda bay. Paths allow you to wander amongst trees and down to the rocky shore. Appreciation of the natural surroundings is helped by the absence of other buildings closeby. The villa is well equipped. There was a communal kitchen with a fridge, freezer, kettle and microwave which was very useful, especially the freezer ( we visited during a heatwave).
