Good location for the train and then metro or bus to get around Rome. Fastest train to Rome Tiburtina is about 28 minutes. From there you can get within a five minute walk of most Rome attractions by Metro within 15 minutes. Last train back is before 22:00 hrs, after that you need to get a taxi, cost around 50 - 70 euros. We booked all our tickets on Trainline. Cheap tickets for the Rome public transport are readily available at the ticket machines within the stations but you can also use your credit card to get through the metro system. Easy apartment to keep clean with tiled floors. Compact but not cramped. Modern and light interior. Everything you need, good shower. Quiet at night, unlike most central Rome locations. Shops available within 10 minute walk. The host is happy and helpful and available next door if you need anything. All in all a great apartment and base to explore the surrounding area.

Second stay in this property and it is a favorite property for us when visiting Rome. The apartment is fully equipped, spacious and located in a perfectly position for easy access to Rome, Tivoli and Bagni di Tivoli. These locations provide plenty of activities for families or explorers. The apartment is situated in a friendly, quiet but also vibrant community, giving us the opportunity to see the locals go in their everyday life. The apartment is near train station and bus stops which are a very easy link from/to airports or to towns and city to explore. It is also walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The bonus of the apartment were the Hosts. Sharon and Giorgio were amazing and checked on us (from time to time) in case we needed anything.
