The hostess Valeria was fantastic answering my mails and requests beforehand. She went out of her way to find us when we were lost and the greeting was very warm and friendly. She also provided us food to cook as we had nothing and the restaurants were a little too far for us. ( 10 minutes car ride) The rooms, bathrooms and the common area inside and outside were clean and cozy. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Triora is a small village perched on a hill.

Triora is a small village perched on a hill. Full of history and enchanted places. It is very nice to walk through the historic centre, to the castle, the fountains and the cemetery, admiring the landscape and remembering the historical events of the late 1500s.

We enjoyed our trip to Triora.

We enjoyed our trip to Triora. It has so much history and beautiful sceneries. The town of the witches!!! We were lucky to have friends show us around. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Food was good. If you want to see the whole town and its beauty you have ready to walk. Between climbing and descending you are going to put alot of walking into it. The town is medieval and the streets are steep and stony.

Visiting Trioria during an important event like Halloween or...

Visiting Trioria during an important event like Halloween or Strigoria is both positive and negative; although personally satisfied, I would return to visit places so steeped in culture and tradition at a time of year that's even less crowded with tourists; the charge of vibrations and mystery is tangible, and deserves even greater calm and tranquility to face them.

Triora is a very quaint village.

Triora is a very quaint village. It's a shame that, despite it being the height of summer, there are no events or entertainment options in the evenings, and there are very few bars and restaurants. However, the locals are very friendly.

A charming village perched on the mountainside, with narrow...

A charming village perched on the mountainside, with narrow alleys, sometimes nestled beneath the houses, pedestrian-only. Along the paths are numerous modern signs and even ancient plaques providing information on the town's history. The view of the wild Ligurian Apennines is remarkable. Beyond its witchy leitmotif, the town is definitely worth a visit.
