Our host went out of his way to make our stay memorable. It is a beautiful area and an exceptional renovation. Breakfast was homemade baked goods with fresh fruit and the two dinners we had there were great. They were served on a terrace at sunset, very romantic.

Martine, the host, was a great communicator and very gracious. She set us up in the place, and connected us with a small restaurant where we enjoyed one of the best meals of our lives. She even arranged for payment after we realized that neither of us had cash. She helped us out as we departed with equal grace. We HIGHLY recommend this stay!

Elena’s property was stellar! If I could give her 100 stars, I would! Elena was a wonderful host; she met us, told us where to park and took us to our apartment. Our room had two windows; one overlooked the quaint street, and the other a beautiful view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment itself was a perfect size for my husband and me. Each morning, we went down one flight of stairs to the kitchen where Antonella was waiting to pamper us with coffee, cappuccino, cornetto, juice, and granola. Besides the Bed & Breakfast, Elena has a restaurant called Rupp Diun. All I can say is W.O.W! We told Elena our food preferences, (I am a vegetarian, for example), and she totally customized the meal that she prepared. Elena has a gift for making you feel like family. We ate at Rupp Diun multiple times because when the food is that good, why go anywhere else! It was fun to meet Elena's family and friends throughout our stay! Full disclosure: my grandmother was born in Colobraro in 1897, and I am on a mission to find out anything I can about my Italian roots. I probably would not have visited Colobraro if not for my grandmother, but what a shame that would have been. Elena and her friend Maria were extremely helpful in guiding me with my search. This beautiful, welcoming hill-top town with the most charming people should be on the bucket list of those that are looking to immerse themselves in Italian culture and history. I hope I am lucky enough to be able to make my way back to this charming city that is filled with townspeople that welcome you with enthusiasm and pride that leaves you with a longing to return. Amazing spot to relax, disconnect, enjoy nature, good food and incredible landscapes. The rooms are spacious and filled with comfort. The restaurant is outstanding in terms of price quality relation. The only minor defect is the pool that needs some maintenance. But with all the amazing beaches in the surroundings, no probs at all! Very friendly and professional owner. Staff super nice and helpful.
