We went to a local canteen-like-restaurant by the marina, where all the locals go. I had lasagne which turned out to be fish and prawn. I was surprised but it was gorgeous. They served it cold, but you can ask them to heat it up (we found out afterwards). We were staying in Vasto town but arrived by train and mistakenly got off 2 stops further along. The food was fabulous, fresh and reasonably priced at the local restaurants!
