Antico Panada dates back to 1889. It is set in 2 historic buildings, 30 metres from Saint Mark's Square. The air-conditioned rooms feature refined furniture, and Murano lamps. The hotel is literally one minute away from Piazza San Marco, 10 m away from the closest restaurant and souvenir shops. Breakfast was amazing and diverse, excellent coffee :) I would definitely stay again if I come back to Venice.

This property offers a Special Protection Program, a strict program of precise safeguards dedicated to our guests and our staff. Our room overlooking the Grand Canal was amazing, we arrived to a bottle of prosecco and roses on the bed (We were traveling for our honeymoon). Breakfasts were great and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. This was our second stay at the hotel.

Our host was friendly and happy to accommodate our reasonable requests. The location was wonderful, a few steps from Piazza San Marco but down a quieter side street. Many restaurants and a couple of small groceries nearby. And the air conditioning was great. Mosquitoes are a fact of life in Venice and I never saw screens on windows in Italy. With AC, not a problem.

Living/dining area was roomy and bedrooms were nice with two full baths. No lift and stairs are a bit steep so warning in case of heavy luggage, but not a problem for us. Totally personal but living room only had one couch. Dining chairs were plastic so not very cushy/not great unit for hanging out, but you're in Italy - so can always hang out at a restaurant/bar/cafe.

It is a small, adorable hotel in quiet neighborhood, with garden, which is very rare in Venice. Staff was great and super friendly. Room very clean, with great view, bathroom well equiped and spacious. Very comfortable bed in bedroom. Breakfast was standard for Italy - only sweets (jam, honey, jugurt, croissant, toasts etc), no vegetables or fruits. Coffee was delicious.
