I have nothing negative to say. The owner and her son were the kindest most helpful people you could ever wish to meet. They went out of their way to look after us and we definitely want to go back. Beautiful location, lovely building and awesome people. I can’t rate them highly enough. You could see Mount Etna from the bedroom balcony, the buses were reliable, the local pizza shop was fabulous and not expensive. Unfortunately, I ran into some major travel issues and had to fly into Palermo instead of Catania and my host, Giuseppe, actually drove all the way to Palermo to pick me up and bring me to Viagrande. He is an incredibly kind and generous host with a love of art and the culture of his island! The location is perfect, especially for visiting Etna and surrounding villages. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafés nearby. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, offering helpful recommendations for dining. Lots of free on-site parking.
