The staff were lovely, room was comfortable and the views are nice. But the breakfast!!! It was so good and was like a private buffet. Benevento is just 15 mins by car where you can find restaurants and main attractions they’ve recommended. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than 1 night to try the wine tasting tour.

The design of the room was beautiful. I loved the ceramic tiles, the antique furniture, curtains, mirrors, arm chairs and good lighting. The terrace was very large, in addition to the tables and lounge chairs downstairs at the pool. Having a fridge was nice. We discovered a great Tavola Calda in the nearby town that had roast chicken, eggplant, red peppers. This food was artesanal and the best food during our 12 day road tour. We enjoyed eating outdoors by the pool. It was nice to be the only guests, as it felt quiet and private. Host sent us a link for the position on GoogleMaps but we were led to the other side of the mountain. But this was not the first time that Google Maps led us astray!

The property owner, Tina, is just fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The unit is brand new and everything was spot on. We were welcomed by Tina and guided to the property. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us. The garden area is fabulous and has a view to die for. I wish we could have stayed longer. Tina was also gracious enough to take us on a guided tour of the church carved into the mountain above us one morning making for a very memorable stay.

We loved our night here! The chocolate theme was unique and fun. The cottage was spacious, comfortable, and was stocked with goodies and an array of food choices for breakfasts. The host were wonderful and clearly committed to making us comfortable. We took advantage of the option to arrange a chocolate massage which was really fun. The location was convenient to town, food and the via Francigena trail. Highly recommend as outstanding.
