Located in Wadi Musa, 1.5 km from Petra, Town Season Hotel features a terrace and views of the city. Love this hotel. My second time to stay here and I will be back. It's immaculately clean and very modern. The rooms are well appointed and there is ample heating and cooling - whatever you require. Tea/coffee in rooms. The decor is lovely as the hotel is pretty new. They also make regular updates e.g. remote controlled lighting and various types of plug adapters which is really handy. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They got me my PCR test at the hotel so I didn't have to go to clinic. Anything you need, they will help you. Ali and Mahmoud are wonderful on the desk as are the staff in the restaurant upstairs. Tea always offered as well as hibiscus. Prefer this hotel to other global chains in Petra/Wadi Musa. I also love the restaurants and cafes around the area. Far more authentic experience. The cleaning staff are so attentive and kind.

Wadi Musa is not about only Treasury that we used to see in picture, rather it is much more than that and can't be covered in a single day. I have seen people came here and stayed for 7 days to cover it properly. I was with my family and because of younger kids I couldn't make it that long so I made my trip short and covered only what was in the range of our physical strength. Its a must visit place and one should not only come here to see the ruins rather have to come here and live on its beauty.
The Petra area is exceptionally beautiful (You can see the main sights in one day and see almost everything in two days, People that are a bit older or in less good shape may want to add an extra day so that they don´t have to rush as there is a lot of climbing involved) There was sufficient free parking available when we visited (May 2022). We highly recommend visiting early (park opens at 6:00) as you will be able to enjoy everything without the crowds. One warning; People in the Petra area will continually offer you donkey and horse rides along the way. They will say that the horse ride is included in the ticket but they will charge you very large ¨tips¨ afterwards. If you want to take a donkey or horse ride, negotiate a destination and price beforehand or they will try to scam you in paying excessive amounts.
We arrived late afternoon, time enough to have dinner and then go to Petra by night - next morning we went to the back entrance of Petra by car - saves you a lot of walking. We walked and enjoyed Petra from 8 in the morning to 6 in the evening - uphill and downhill to see all the sights. Tourism street where the visitor center is - the name makes good sense - quite expensive restaurants if you compare to Amman. We didn't have time to visit the actual city of Wadi Musa - just the area near the Petra visitor center.
Petra is magnificent and definitely to visit at first opportunity. Advise at least 2 days. For access be careful, there are no signs in this area; you need a local Sim and navigator not to loose time in countless hills of the city to reach Petra. Very expensive food and accommodation. No need to pay any extra inside for trails and climbs, they will try to force you to take a guide which is a scam. Also watch out for horsehide and donkey scams; also it is worth the experience when on foot. Advise to enter early before the package tour herd arrives at 09:00. With Jordan Pass you have to validate and receive separate tickets from visitor center to enter ! At sunset the colours of rocks change and is very beautiful.
It is from a different planet. You need at least 6-8 hours and you will not finish all of it. One has to see it in his/her life time. Not suited for toddlers or children to go on top (to claims the 850 stairs) - it is highly slippery and with all the animals, people, uneven stairs (in some parts the stairs are missing) ... again it is my view of things :) They will come to you with proposals to go on top at the entrance (not on top at the monastery) - they start from 15 JOD per person (we were 3) and ended up to 10 for the group :) to go up on the left side as you are facing the entrance; to the right - which is a 5 min climb they will ask for 5 JOD per person but we did not go there :) Also in my opinion do not go by donkey to the Monastery (the 850 stairs) unless you have a good heart :)) the donkey always walks on near the ravine and it is not fun at all. The animal knows its way but being on the edge all the time will all the people and the noises and etc ... anyway this is my personal opinion.
An amazing experience that will live in our memories forever. Incredible sights, sounds and people. The views and sights will amaze even the most hardened traveller. We drank at many of the Bedouin tents we passed along the way and the people welcomed us with open arms and a smile.
Wadi Musa
This hotel is amazing! The room was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean with a huge window and a great view over Wadi Musa. The price for the room was incredibly low considering the amazing quality. The hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and at the same time not to far from the town centre and Petra visitor centre. Breakfast was delicious. What is more, the owner and his staff are extremely kind and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
Great location, less then 5mins to walk to Petra visitor centre and the museum. The staff were excellent, very friendly and super helpful in organising travel onwards to Wadi Rum for us. They also provided us with breakfast boxes as we left early on the last day before breakfast started. I highly recommend staying at this hotel which is reasonably priced. They even had a 3 single bed room for us which was a rarity and a massive bonus for us. Thank you La Maison 👍
We had a really nice stay at the Infinity. It has spectacular views overlooking Wadi Musa but it is still only but still only a few minutes down to Petra. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and each one has a balcony. The owners are great. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of fruit, eggs, bread, and condiments tray. Everyone makes you feel at home. I highly recommend this sweet little gem !
Lovely and very helpful owner, gave us loads of tips for visiting Petra and booked a bus for Wadi Rum. Room was small, but nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. It was quite quiet inside as well. Breakfast was Good and there was free tea/ coffee all the time. The location is in the centre of Wadi Musa, next to all the restaurants/ shops. Very nice small hotel. Would definitely recommend.
Wadi Musa
It's a pod hotel. The pods are comfortable, and have good mattresses. The staff is friendly and they offer meal options. It's very close to the gate for Petra. You can easily walk into the park. If you want to do Petra on a budget this is a solid option. There are a couple of other hostels in the area, but they have bunk beds. For my money, I'd rather have my own pod.
Excellent location to petra, literally couldnt get closer. There was an excellent hotel buffet in the evening on the roof top. We were able to check in which was a bonus for us as we were grubby from Wadi Rum. We didnt use the pool but it did look quite nice. Pastries offered in the room which was a nice touch. Comfortable beds and always hot water.
The location was exceptional. Three-minute walk from the main entrance. Breakfast was really good and the dining room was very clean. The bed was big and everything was clean. The timing for the hot water was framed, a bit uncomfortable although we do not know whether this is something that happens in all hotels in Wadi Musa.
Great balcony view to Petra. Located in heart of old Wadi Musa city. Perfect English speaking guys Omar and Mohamed at the reception desk (arranged everything we needed, incl. bus to Wadi Rum). Very appreciated free tea service at roof common room all day long, hot water and heating air-conditioning (December).
Complimentary drink at the check-in. Professional and polite staff. Breakfast was very good. Room was modern, clean, with touch screen controls and big tv. Price was exceptional, similar hotels in Europe cost at least 2 or 3 times more. Pool and spa are available but didn't have time to enjoy them.
Perfect location 5 minutes from the main entrance to Petra. Restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. Although the centre of Wadi Musa is further away, you won't really want to walk any further after a full day in Petra. The rooms are spacious and the hotel service is very good.
Exceeded my expectations. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were large, well equipped and very clean. I would definitely stay here again! Great location too; close to the Petra Visitor centre, bars and restaurants of Wadi Musa and it has a secure large car park.
Wadi Musa
Friendly, helpful staff and large comfortable room. The hotel is near to Petra entrance compared to a lot of the hotels in Wadi Musa - Only about 5 minutes walk. Theres parking outside and a small shop next door. Would definitely stay there again if I revisit Petra.
Cleanliness and comfort, proximity to the restaurants and grocery store at Wadi Musa, like the shuttle to Petra and from Petra (not many hotels provide this service), they also provide lunch box for 5JOD to pack for Petra
The owner and the staff are great and we had good conversation with them. The location is in the middle of Wadi musa and it is easy to go to anywhere in the town.
The facilities were good. Clean and comfortable. Close to downtown Wadi Musa.
Good view from Wadi Musa
Its location Its facilities The staff were very helpful
Amazing place and experience, amazing staff and service. Thank you!
Great hotel in easy walking distance of Petra. First I was told my room wasn’t ready even though it was 2pm, so I said no problem. The bubble itself is amazing and staff were super friendly and helpful, ordering us a taxi from the bubble to Amman within a hour. The hot tub was very hot 😅 food was delicious and there were some complimentary drinks in the fridge when we got there.
