They were very helpful with recommendations and helped us arrange our transportation and provided advice. The hotel is charming and the facilities are great. It's located uphill so the view is quite beautiful. The rooms are tastefully decorated. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Because of lockdown and covid 19, there were not restaurants open at night so Mohammed made us dinner. It was delicious. Also, the location is great. 15 min walk to Petra visitor center and conveniently located near downtown. The place is great for solo travelers or families. We would definitely come back here.

Petra is an amazing experience that everyone should have at least once in their lives. Jordanians as a whole are extremely friendly and polite people, but the Bedouins at Petra are obnoxious. I understand that they've been hit extremely hard with covid and the lack of tourists, but the following and yelling at us was absurd. The minute my partner and I walked into the siq entrance, we were followed and constantly being harrashed to take a camel ride, donkey ride or go to the view from the top. On our 2nd day, we caved and agreed to the view from the top because hey, why not. The "guide", Mohamed, led us up some steep rocks on the right hand side of the view and not 30 seconds up this hill, the police and other bedouins start yelling at us and waving to come back down. I'm not one to mess with police, especially in a foreign country, so we go back down. At this point, a full on screaming match ensues between the police and the local bedouins. One group of guys come up and tell us they're the park rangers and they want our passports. My partner says to them "ok so let me ask you something. You've said one thing, he's said another, and those 3 guys over there all said something different. what am I, as a tourist, supposed to believe?" and then he asked to take a picture of their badges (lanyards and printed cards in them). The minute he pulls out his phone, they say no pictures and walk off. The police sat at the bench of the treasury the entire time and said nothing to us.
The city itself isn't much, but you don't go there for the city. You go for Petra, which is one the best things I have ever seen in my life. There are some quite decent places to grab a bite in the centre of Wadi Musa.
We only stayed in Wadi Musa for 2 nights, arrived in the evening and left right after breakfast so we only had one day there which we spent in Petra. We knew that the weather was going to get worse in the afternoon so we went to Petra early and walked the entire basic route. Then they closed the whole area and people were transported out on buses and trucks. It's important to pay attention to weather forecasts!
Exceptional place and sights. An exceptionnally bad accomodation did not ruin altogether the experience, but gives pause for thought about selecting the right rooms on other journeys. And the price of the room is clearly not the only indicator.
Three days is barely enough if you're a hiker, like me. There are many wonderful trails in Petra, be sure not to miss them! Trail to Little Petra is a must, really awesome views. Go to Mother of Cisterns mountain - few tourists and spectacular sights over the Petra valley.
absolutely beautiful! a real highlight for us. a camel ride through the desert is a must. we recommend the rum stars camp. beautiful cabin style tents. good food and very interesting guides. bare in mind its v cold at night in the desert in winter!!
Everything from the moment we booked the hotel to the moment we left was spectacular. The staff were among the nicest people I encountered on my trip. I had misplaced my phone charger on my flight into Jordan and the owner of the hotel took me to a store to find a replacement charger and that was so above and beyond for a hotel! He gave me great tips about things to do in Jordan and food to eat and honestly, I was just blown away by the hospitality. The breakfast here was awesome! We looked forward to it every day! And the view from the balcony on the top floor is spectacular. Can't wait to stay here again.
This is an excellent hotel. The staff is great, friendly, helpful. The building itself seems older but the upkeep is solid. There's a "lift" to get luggage into the hotel from the street that could work for a wheelchair user in a pinch. The facilities/building itself is good and the breakfast is good... But the staff made this place great. It's close to the Petra Visitor Center which was key.
It is clean with a blow dryer in the bathroom. It’s very close to the entrance to Petra. Approximately 5 min walk or less. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small and dated but it is clean and close to where I wanted to be, the staff is friendly and the food fabulous.
Rooms were cosy, nicely furnished. It was possible to warm the room with the air conditioning. Everything was clean. Breakfast was rich and good, also with jordan traditional food. Hotel is practicaly next to Petra. We recommend also a nearby restaurant My Mom´s Recipe. Very good value for money. Staff was nice and warm.
The service is first class. Everybody was always trying to help to give more service. The rooms very comfortable hot water refrigerator with coke water and everything Shuffle service to Petra excellent you call and they pick you. We definitely recommend it
