I recently stayed at Petra Plaza Hotel with my wife and two teenage children, and it was an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything a family could need for a comfortable stay.
The breakfast was a standout feature, with a buffet offering over 20 items, catering to all tastes and dietary needs. It was the perfect start to our days of exploring. The hotel's location is fantastic – just a minute's walk from the town center, where we found plenty of supermarkets and restaurants, making it extremely convenient. Additionally, Petra was only a 5-minute car ride away, which made visiting this world wonder very convenient.
Our family room was ideal, with a separate space for my wife and me, providing privacy and comfort. The room was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully stocked with complimentary tea, coffee, water, and snacks, which was a lovely touch.
Overall, I highly recommend Petra Plaza Hotel for families or anyone looking for a convenient and welcoming place to stay near Petra.
Just 100 yards from the entrance gate to Petra, this hotel features spacious rooms with flat-screen TVs. It also has a roof garden with a seasonal outdoor pool.

The manager and team took amazing care of me and my partner when we visited in August 2024. We arrived extremely late but they put dinner aside for us and left it in our room. Front desk was extremely helpful with giving advice and she even asked staff to pack us a breakfast to take with us as we ventured out under the Jordanian sun.
The location is also top-tier - right at the entrance to Petra! Could not have asked for a better first night during our Jordan trip.

We had the Jordan pass and boked for 3 days to go into Petra. We arrived in the afternoon at 4 p.m. so walked in to the Treasury, we then went in for the whole day and then on our last morning walked in the backway.
there are lots of places to eat in Wadi Musa and reasonably priced. The museum is worth going into.
we got a donkey up to the monastery which was a very exciting experience and then walked down. It is worth visiting.

Do not get food near the visitor center, it is expensive. Get it from one of the restaurant a km away, called downtown by the folk. Like mehrbash or Falafel place.

Wadi Musa is the town that surrounds Petra, a historic place not to miss. Also in Wadi Musa is the rock that Moses ( Musa) hit with his staff and water miraculously formed. It has a beautiful view from that site
Also, The hotel next to the Petra entrance is elegant- but it's star is the Cave Bar- check it out for a bar that is over 2000 yrs old !

Petra is AMAZING, there's absolutely nothing to complain about.
Wadi Musa itself is a mall place with a few restaurants. Please are amazing and very polite, as in the rest of the country.
The only issue a whole place has is the water - it does not flow well. Hence, the bathrooms need to be used with caution and use very low pressure as the higher one can make it wet for days.
A recommendation for a good restaurant would be Mr. Falafel in The Tourist Street. A huge hug for the owner - Rami!

The guest house was very clean and well maintained.
This was my family's second visit to Petra and we stayed at an expensive hotel last time out. However, the Leen Guest house was FAR better than any hotel we have been to and is also a much better value for money. Also, the location is excellent and you can see the entire Wadi Musa from the terrace.
The hosts are also very friendly and accommodating!
We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Petra.
Very spacious, clean room with extremely comfortable beds. Ideal location in the middle of Wadi Musa close to restaurants for the evening and easy, safe street parking. Short drive to Petra (we had a rental but the hotel offers a shuttle as well). Excellent breakfast from 6am if you want to make the most of the day! Very hospitable hosts who could not have been more helpful. Extremely good value for money.
Everything! The manager was extremely helpful and welcoming. The staff was really nice and professional. I have been traveling a lot, but I think this is the best overall experience ever. Wonderful view from the hotel over Wadi Musa and close to Petra. I can warmly recommend this hotel.
Great location, closest hotel to Petra in the whole Wadi Musa!
I had a mobility issue and they gave me a room with elevator access (thank you!).
Good drinks and food at bar.
Efficient check-in.
A wonderful hotel with everything you need in the heart of Wadi Musa. Family run and very generous people. Free shuttle to Petra visitor centre and back and always available on WhatsApp
