We parked at Times Parking next to Crown Plaza hotel and the parking lot charged us 3200 yen for over nigh parking. We found not place to clarify why such high as the signage said maximum was 700 yen for over night. I booked a counter table in 长屋酒场， but they offered sitting on tatami with a few small tables... eating for 1-2 hours... just not comfortable. we left early and found not so good experience.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

My only purpose to come to Akita was to visit the Shrine of our Lady of Akita. The famous tears shedding statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I'm a catholic. That was my personal pilgrimage. I love Akita. People are polite and honest. They arr vwey helpful and try their best to communicate in English. The place is very clean and peaceful.
