Host was delightful, helpful and very welcoming. Nice to have use of kitchen and common room. Guesthouse is in a historic part of town with many ceramic galleries and shops.

Most beautiful stay I’ve stayed in thus far. Very thoughtful design. Can’t believe it’s already 10 years old. Beautiful Arita-yaki for use in the kitchen. Coffee shop and curated porcelain shop at the 1st floor really made this a great stay. Takashi-san provided great suggestions and even accompanied us to some Arita sights!

really nice hotel in the countryside. love the idea of free onsen voucher for the onsen next door, this is unexpected and goodness, that onsen next door is fantastic, good onsen water with fabulous view. They even have a award winning pizza place and crepe kiosk in the onsen. Nothing to ask for more.

The staff at Win Village Sasebo was so incredibly kind and helpful! It was super easy to communicate with them—they really listened to every single request we had with a genuine willingness to assist, which made our whole experience feel effortless. A huge highlight was definitely the private onsen and BBQ facilities, which were set up perfectly just for us. The onsen session was so peaceful and beautifully prepared, offering a truly private escape. The BBQ area was also meticulously set up, making it a comfy and relaxing spot. We’d absolutely recommend this place! The staff’s unwavering support really made our visit unforgettable.

The room was small, but perfect for me. I had my own room so it was easy to move around. I liked that the light switches and outlets were on the wall right next to the bed. so convenient. I stayed here to go to the Arita Pottery Festival and it was an easy drive from here to the festival. Staff was very nice and chock-in/check-out process was very easy.

    We loved being able to visit some of the kilns and see how the porcelain is made. As well as showrooms, some makers had museums showing older pieces of their work. The Kyushu Ceramic Museum had fabulous pieces on display and good explanations on the processes involved. The locals were very friendly and helpful and pleased to have visitors interested in their porcelain.

    Arita is nice place to learn about ceramic, and the environment is nice with many mountains and trees. Also this area has many shrines and art museums, and there is a lot history about porcelain in Japan.
