Very quiet and secluded place with a café and rest area on the first floor. Was very clean. The Quad room is actually a quad room, and not a dormitory so I didn't have to share it with others even though i booked it for a single person.

“I stayed at Yamabo House for four nights while visiting my dad nearby. Noriko and Francois were wonderful hosts and have poured so much love into the restoration of this historic kominka. Beyond the beauty of the home, the surrounding area and view were breathtaking. The beds were very comfortable and I felt at ease to relax around the home or do my own thing. I highly recommend it.
