It was very clean, and the staff was amiable. It was a 10-minute walk from Kyoto station and easy to go anywhere. They also had a shuttle to Kinkaku-ji, which we used in the morning. Since we arrived in the morning at the hotel before check-in we kept the luggage at the hotel.
