The property is clean! the room is big enough for 2 pax. All your basic needs is there. The location is near Mt. Fuji / Fujisan station which also accessible for bus stop going to/from Tokyo/Shinjuku. They have rooftop which you can view the beautiful Mt. Fuji. The staff are nice. In room, they have a notes for Restaurant suggestions and tourist spots location.

Dinner was very good, exceed my expectation. Breakfast is buffet style which I don't prefer. The view to Mt Fuji is worth the admission. Kids friendly and they have drum and magic show at night. They also have firework for kids to play as well.

Staying at Kominka Saisei Hotel Relink was like stepping into a dream. The house is a beautifully restored traditional Japanese home with authentic wooden interiors, spacious tatami rooms, and a calm, welcoming energy. We especially loved the peaceful view of Mt. Fuji, visible from the garden and windows. The atmosphere was serene, and the design was both traditional and tasteful. The kids were thrilled with the beanbags and cozy sleeping area, and we adults truly relaxed in this wonderful space. Everything was clean, beautifully arranged and full of charm.

Highland Resort Hotel & Spa is a superb hotel dominating the 2 main amusement parks of Fuji Q Highland. It's main hall is great looking and nicely structured with a wide lounge next to the reception, where the staff was very kind and informative. There's 3 elevators to access the floors, the rooms corridors had a felt atmosphere with a good soft floor fabric up to the bedrooms. I really liked the Double Room, very felt and pastel looking, especially the bathroom raised above the hallway and bedroom area by 2 steps. On that note the bathtub was very wide and the body care products made of rich fruitful scents. The bed was comfortable, especially the pillows, so I spent a good night and I should have booked for two nights at least. I didn't went to the Spa so I can't review this part, same for the variety of restaurants making the hotel an interesting complex, mostly made for families and group of friends.

The property offered nearby places for great hikes/walks with views of Mount Fuji and other nature scenery. We reserved dinner for our 2nd night and it came with 6 courses. It was absolutely delicious and well presented. The hotel staff was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. We loved our room. The beds were so comfortable and the private onsen and rain shower was a bonus. It is truly a great place to stay to relax and unwind.

    I recommend staying.

I recommend staying. I wrote a long review separately which I hope is useful; please refer to that. In addition, for young children, you can visit the sheep shed where they keep the sheep to see sheep up close, wander down and the up the hill behind reception, and get the best tasting soft serve ever from the restaurant!

We spent 2 nights there, went up the hill to take pictures...

We spent 2 nights there, went up the hill to take pictures of Mt Fuji from the Pagoda platform - or rather near the platform because it was totally crowded (cherry blossom time & blue skies). On the other full day, we cycled around Lake Kawaguchi. There are some really beautiful views, We went counterclockwise which makes sense as the clear skies and views of Fuji seem to be better in the morning - with the clouds moving in in the afternoon. You also go from more crowded areas to more nature based areas with forests and temples - so it felt more relaxing this way. The city itself felt not very inspiring though - beyond the fantastic view of Mt Fuji. Lots of average or run down places, many day tourists, and in the afternoon everything shuts down - guess after the day tourists leave - and it became a bit of a ghost town. This was in April so not sure how it is in summer of fall, but 2 nights felt entirely sufficient - unless of course your in the hiking season, heading up Mt Fuji.

My stay at Villas Fuji Sengen was everything I could have...

My stay at Villas Fuji Sengen was everything I could have hoped for, with serene surroundings and top-notch service that made us feel completely at home. The property is beautifully designed, blending modern comforts with traditional aesthetics, making every corner a delightful experience. However, I must mention that my visit coincided with an unexpected continuation of winter conditions. I had hoped to witness the majestic Mount Fuji against a backdrop of spring, but instead, the area was still enveloped in a thick blanket of snow. The roofs and trees were covered, and the roads near the villa were quite snowy, which obscured the view of the mountain. This was a bit of a surprise and slightly disappointing as seeing Mount Fuji was a significant reason for my visit. Despite this natural setback, the villa itself provided a wonderfully cozy refuge from the cold. The warmth of the staff and the comfort of the villa made it easy to enjoy the beauty of the snowy landscape in its own right. It turned into a different kind of getaway than planned—one more focused on relaxation and enjoying the unexpected winter wonderland. If you’re planning a visit, I’d highly recommend checking the seasonal weather conditions as Mount Fuji can be shy and hide behind the weather. But rest assured, regardless of the season, Villas Fuji Sengen offers a superb escape from the ordinary, and I left fully satisfied with my stay.

Very convenient drive to five lakes and major Mt Fuji sights. We were able to drive to Kawaguchiko both during the day to take the cable car for panoramic views and at night to see the fireworks. Many restaurants in the region for Japanese and other cuisines, no short of choices. Beautiful views of Mt Fuji from various areas of the five lakes region. Chureito Pagoda is a must visit despite the long climb up. Gotemba premium outlet is popular and not far away for branded shopping and dining.

Check-in and out was pleasant and easy, the receptionist is well versed in Japanese, English and Chinese, amazing! Facilities are clean, hotel has a modern feel, and room is bigger than expected. Location seems to be pretty good but we drove so it was not an issue, complimentary parking was much appreciated and the bigger parking lot is only a minute walk away. We could also park in front of the hotel if there are space, which was heavenly!

The house was very big for Japanese customs. Beds were very comfortable, there were two bathrooms and two toilets so we had a lot of space and privacy before heading to Tokyo´s tiny hotel rooms. We especially loved the terrace and the view on Mount Fuji which was just fantastic. Having breakfast and evening drinks on the terrace was very relaxing, especially after climbing Mt. Fuji!
