This place is amazing!
We chose this one because of the easy access to a co-working space and it didn't disappoint. We spent most of the time out of the room, however, the room is comfy, you have all the amenities you need and they offer room cleaning or towel changing.
Every day you have a happy hour where you get a free beer.
It's located 20 meters away from a metro station sp getting there is super convenient.

Fukuoka has all I would need in a city of residence, the variety and plentiful coffee shops, the pretty wide and clean tree lined streets, the parks, museums, the waterfront beaches and canal city, the architectural mix of both the traditional and modern, the food, and the people. Wouldn’t forget the hills in the immediate horizon. From center, one is just between ten and twenty minutes to beautiful beaches and sea, or to points from which to paraglide… It’s a relatively calm place when considering the extremes that climate change is imposing on many cities — floods, tsunamis, etc

Plenty of places to visit. Wonderful food everywhere. Cost is a bit lower compared to bigger cities like Tokyo or Osaka. Train can take you to most places you want to go if you prefer to relax a bit more without having to drive

Fukuoka, one of the leading tourist cities in Japan, is highly regarded for its food culture. Fukuoka City was selected in the "Food" category of the "Best In Travel 2023" by Lonely Planet, a world-renowned guidebook, and Fukuoka's yatai (food stalls) in Hakata were chosen for "52 Places to Go in 2023" by The New York Times. Local gourmet dishes, such as motsunabe (offal hot pot), Mizutaki (chicken hot pot), and ramen, as well as the abundance of seafood and mountain delicacies, can be enjoyed in Fukuoka.

It's not so crowded and people in general are very nice and accommodating. There are lots of places to see like the red port tower with free entrance instead of Fukuoka tower. Ohori park is a must visit where you'll find the Fukuoka art museum as well and during sakura, try to visit Kayoicho park also. Must visit also the yatai stalls at Nakasu. If you're visiting during the month of July, try not to miss the yamakasa festival from July 1 to 15.
Coming from the international airport, I suggest you take the airport shuttle bus instead of the subway so you'll have an early glimpse of Fukuoka.
Located across Hakata Train station and Bus Terminal, the hotel offers excellent access to explore the city and other key attractions in Kyushu. Level B1 is connected to Chikushi Exit 7 (East) of Hakata station offering sheltered pathway to Airport Line. Breakfast is served between a choice of Japanese or Western cuisines and delicious. Room is spacious and interior is new and clean.
Overall, Hotel Miyako Fukuoka offers a five-star stay with top-notch service, comfort, and amenities. Highly recommended!
As a new hotel, Ritz Carlton Fukuoka is beautifully designed and served as a perfect stay for our anniversary celebration. The room is spacious, comfortable and very practical in terms of layout. We got one facing Hakata Bay and it was especially a great view at sunset and in the evening. Their breakfast selection was delicious and of high quality. We also went to their bar and Japanese restaurant, both phenomenal. Service was lovely, all the staff greet you with a smile. We would stay here again!
Location and the convenience. Very cheap as well. The room seam a bit bigger than in other TI hotels I stayed long time a go so that's a bonus too. It's perfect place for quick transitioning between cities and when you are on a busy schedule. Also always free breakfast
I didn't use it as I had to go very early but it's really good.
Lastly they are better prepared for modern world than 5 star hotels! I love that they installed USB and Ctype chargers!!! Big bonus for overseas travellers like myself
Amazingly close to the Fukuoka Hakata JR station. Extremely clean rooms. Very generous sizing by Japanese standards. Huge bathroom! Amazing shower with multiple jets - very relaxing. Staff were lovely. Check out was a breeze - only took about 20 seconds. Lots of amenities on offer - soaps, razors, hairbrush etc. Like with all Tokyu hotels they have the charity donation if you don’t use the amenities which I love.
The location is very near Hakata station, with such a good location, although the room a bit small, but the hotel provides everything, feels luxury as compare to 5he past 3 accommodations and definitely is the best deal. Highly recommended for those who want to visit Hakata.
