Close to beach and sports. Very solid had 2 typhoons occur and one tsunami warning in the 3 weeks I was there, I felt very safe. Lovely Onsen (hot springs), as an American it is an amazing experience (read up on the customs prior). As a solo traveler didn’t try the French restaurant as no al a carte was available. The English speaking hosts were very accomidating.

Hotel is located in the beautiful island of Ikeijima. The scenery is stunning. It was great to go for walks in the morning and evening - the beach is so beautiful. The hotel room was so nice and clean. Ocean view - amazing. Comfy beds, good air conditioning and shower. Breakfast was great with a lot of options. Their umukuji was so delicious. We chose to have dinner in the hotel. Plenty of options available. Sashimi was delicious. Nice drinks too. There is a shop available close to reception - handy to get water and some snacks. Washing machines and dryers can be used with a small cost. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The home was such a unique and beautiful (and tranquil) property. We loved the rooftop view and easy access to the beach below. I wish we could have spent more time there. The home was so thoughtfully designed. Not a lot of restaurants in the area, but that wasn't much of a distraction.
