Very close to the hatsudai station and 10 mins taxi to shinjuku. The hotel has a lovely cafe i enjoyed my first day arriving. The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Location is wonderful. The hotel is simple but lovely. So easy to get to the station and wonder into Shimokitazawa for food, drinks etc. Cracker bonus it has a great coffee show in the reception that makes proper espresso.

    Kichijoji is a great area in the western suburbs of Tokyo.

    Kichijoji is a great area in the western suburbs of Tokyo. We explored the beautiful Inokashira Park and other points further west such as Chofu and Koganei. We ate at a great izakaya that specialises in squid called Totomaro. There's plenty of shopping, including Don Quijote and Yuzawaya. Kichijoji is on the Chuo line which connects with Shinjuku and Tokyo stations. It's also really well serviced with buses.
