Great location and good to have car parks available in front of the hotel. We all liked the Japanese-style breakfast but it would be great if there was toast available as well.
Overall we loved our stay and we would come back again.

Kofu is a great place to enjoy fruits like peaches and grapes, but it's also a great place to enjoy autumn leaves and hiking. Shosenkyo and Nishizawa Valley are not far from the city, so they're easy to visit. At the Nishizawa Valley Konnyaku Museum, located near the entrance to Nishizawa Valley, you can rediscover and enjoy the various flavors of konnyaku. Also, on a separate note, the museum displays calligraphy by a woman named Noriko. She is currently devoting herself to konnyaku production, and I'm sure anyone would be deeply moved by her calligraphy. On a separate note, Kofu City also has a wonderful prefectural museum, with free admission for those over 65. It's a beautiful museum, and I highly recommend it.

Takashi graciously picked us up from the station and welcomed us to his stunning guest house, where traditional rooms and thoughtful touches create an unforgettable atmosphere. Over the following days, we explored the historic Maizuru Castle Park, the revered Takeda Shrine, and the serene Enkō-in temple—all by bike, adding a sense of adventure to the journey. Don’t miss a trip to Shosenkyo Gorge. Above all, the sight of Mount Fuji crowned the experience, making Kofu a wonderful destination in the heart of Japan.
