This is a stand alone house directly at the cliffs. Lower floor seemed to be storage area. All upper floor is guest apartment consisting of fully equipped kitchen with seating area, big tatami room, and one bedroom with two conventional beds. Latter two rooms open up to a terrace with beautiful sea view. There was self check-in and out without difficulties. Onsen 5 minutes away walking. Café and fish restaurant same distance. Supermarket down the road in town.

Very clean, stylish hostel with large rooms that are thoughtfully put together. Hosts were helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. We were bike touring and they had a large indoor area where we could safely store our bikes overnight. Restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for having us!

We loved this cute place! Our host met us to give us keys and tell us where to park (offsite but within walking distance), and she was very warm, sweet, and accommodating. The place was clean, comfortable, and everything worked (aircon, hotwater, bidet toilet, etc). The location is stunning and right on the water. The view from the upstairs bedroom was gorgeous, and offered a spectacular view of the fjord on which the entire town is sitting. Everything is within walking distance, including the famous Sakitsu Catholic Church (a world heritage site).

Mr. Nakata, the owner, went above and beyond by showing me around town. The appliances and tatami flooring are all new.

We did but have rental car so walked ti property from train station. Was fine for us (we had backpacks) but someone who doesn’t want to walk a mile would want to get a taxi. Staff was wonderful. So friendly and answers questions for us. We have limited Japanese and staff had Limited English but we all used our google translate and got along just fine. Easy walk to beautiful Shrine close to hotel. Couple restaurants very close as well (within quarter mile..easy to walk). Our room was clean and the added amenities like toothbrush, razor, etc were very handy.
