Exquisite location on the water with great views and well designed to optimize the views. Loved the washi paper on the walls, the bed was extra comfortable and the rooms were sizable. The bathroom was nice with a deep tub facing the water.

The house is incredibly charming and immaculately clean. The owner is so kind and clearly takes great care of the home. She doesn't speak English but communicates well through gestures. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet atmosphere—we barely noticed any other guests. Shared kitchen and fridge access were convenient. Thoughtful touches like instant noodles for purchase. Great yakiniku restaurant just down the street that’s open late. Only a 7-minute walk to Miyazu Station and 5 minutes to the bus stop. Very affordable for the area—only $122 per night. We stayed with a baby and still had a peaceful experience.

The staff was accommodating to the many questions we had during our stay. We had a spacious room that was comfortable to sleep in. It was also very easy to find.

This was an authentic Japanese style inn in the heart of Maizuru. It was beautifully finished inside with many touches of unique surprises (eg record players with 60s and 70s Japanese music). The beds were very comfortable.

The hostel itself was beautiful, and everything was easily accessible and comfortable despite it being shared/communal services. I loved the layout of the room I stayed in, and found the provided games in the lounge area to be really fun! There were various options for restaurants nearby, and a simple 2 minute walk put us in range of many. Overall, it was great for my one night! If I ever need to be back in the area, I would love to stay for longer.
