The Shuri castle was under reconstruction. However, it was extremely interesting to see the details of the reconstruction effort, and how it was originally built. Naha is a small city. You can visit all the main spots by walking and public transportation. Surrounded by ocean, Naha's restaurants can offer very qualified Sushi and sashimi. It is good for 3 days in Naha to see most of the attractions, shirujo castle though the main entrance Hall is actually a 3-D Painting Photo because the actual is still under re-construction, Okinawa world, the fish markets and kokusai street, shikinaen Garden, Senaga island, Sefa-Utaki and half hour drive to American Village. Naha has so much to do. We used it as a home base for visiting outer islands and other parts of Okinawa. The people are friendly and laid back. We even enjoyed joining a local band in singing and dancing.Guest review byAnonymous

Bus T02 from the airport gets you there in 10 minutes, and its easy to get busses to other places on Okinawa or walk to the ferry terminal.
