This was a perfect option for accommodation while visiting Naoshima island. We loved the view and the overall vibe of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast and dinner were great - not quite traditional so a pleasant change of pace. The location was also great - easy to walk from the ferry- sure a bit of an uphill climb, but nothing too dramatic ( although we were not pushing heavy luggage). It was also possible to walk to Chichu art Museum. I would happily stay here again if I went back to Naoshima.

We had a fantastic stay at yellow house. The room was spacious, clean and beds comfortable. The shower was very good too. The hosts were very helpful and kind, allowing us to leave our bags after check out and arranging transport to the port on our departure day. They also left bananas and water in the room which were appreciated! The location of the House is great - right by the water and an easy walk to the Ando Museum and Art House area, but also just half an hour walk to the Benesse / Chichu side of the island. There are also good restaurants and coffee shops / cafes short walks from the House. We had a great stay here and would really recommend staying at Yellow House!

the guest house was lovely - very clean and spacious and in an excellent location close to Honmura port and a bike rental shop. There is also a great selection of drinks and snacks in the guest house. The hosts were amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us, picking us up and dropping us off to the port, helping with booking bicycles and finding a restaurant in the evening. They even bought us fresh coffee when we checked out. The perfect stay with the perfect hosts! Thank you!

This property is an amazing off the beaten path guest house for travelers looking for a unique experience. The home is full with records, manga, and old tech and is filled to the brim with cool stuff. The host cooked us the MOST INCREDIBLE meal for dinner and breakfast was amazing as well. He left us the run of the guest house and we really enjoyed everything.
