TaiwanPublic bath is wonderful. There is even free ice after the bath. The small stand in the lobby that sells drinks and fruits till late night is just great. The weighing scale locates in the lobby can be handy when preparing luggage for the next flight. The laundry facility is great and cheap. We washed and dried our clothes several times during our stay. We used airporter to ship our luggage from and to the airport and that went smooth with the help of the front desk staff. Location is great as there is a Shiden station right next to it.

October is a great time to visit Sapporo!
October is a great time to visit Sapporo! Weather-wise, getting chilier than rest of Japan, but no humidity! Fall color! People at Sapporo are friendly and helpful. Lots to do around the covered malls.
Nearby at Otaru, I went to make a music box at the Music Box museum. Along that street are SO many wonderful and artistic places to visit, as well as good foods.

Sapporo is a gem.
Sapporo is a gem. I think it's underrated and few people visit here but this is the best countryside location I have been to.
Liked the city vibe - very relaxed, slow paced unlike Tokyo, Osaka. Loved our day tour to Asahiyama Zoo, Ningle Terrace.

This is my first trip to Sapporo.
This is my first trip to Sapporo. It looks like a center where you can easily explor to another area in Hokkaido. Our group enjoyed a daily visit to Otaru and Jozankei including walking around Sapporo center. We also enjoyed eating the local menu and some shopping. My favorite part is CTS airport where you can find varities of nice sweet of Hokkaido which I can not find in town. I do not hesitate to visit again.

City is very pleasant and liveable with wide streets in a grid pattern that make navigating easy. Main attraction was as the main centre for Hokkaido, with day trips to outlying areas (Otaru, Cape Kamui, Yoichi etc) as the real draw card. Sapporo Beer Museum was also excellent.

Most interesting places like Furano, Daisetsuzan and...
Most interesting places like Furano, Daisetsuzan and noboribetsu are not close to Sapporo even with self-drive trips. So don’t base your self in Sapporo as it is far from its own airport anyway. Stay in Sapporo if you want to explore its surrounding areas.

Less touristy than other places in Japan, but a good base for visiting places like Furano, Hakodate, Noboribetsu.
We went there during the summer festival which was great, and the shopping centre at the main station is very good.

Friendly Helpful Staff
Convenient location within walking distance to the Sapporo Station where the train stops from the Airport
(Bus from Airport actually stops right at the hotel but the timing was not as convenient as us catching the train)
7-Eleven just across the street and Lawson/Family Mart nearby too
We also walked to the Clock Tower, Sapporo TV Tower, Nijo Fish Market and Sapporo Beer Museum (although the beer Museum may be too far for most people to walk)
Bus to the ski field has this hotel as a pick up point

Well maintained modern 'business style' hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable, as expected. Location inside Sapporo is quite good, within very comfortable walking distance of Odori Park, Tanukikoji arcade, Pole Town, Department Stores, Hokkaido University Botanical Garden, Sapporo Clock Tower and many other 'attractions'. Several convenience stores for small supplies are either in the same or the next city block...
For our trip to Japan this year, it was the hotel with best value for money.

This hotel and the hoteliers are exceptional. The staff are polite, helpful and will always work with you to navigate Japanese & English.
I would encourage travellers to practice Japanese to help meet the staff halfway or pick up an app to support.
Honestly, this was a brilliant place to stay, across from the amazing Odori park! I highly recommend.

The location is just GREAT. It's by the most popular Da Tong Park in Sapporo. You can walk underground from Sapporo station to the hotel without any heavy coat even it's snowing outdoor. Spa on the roof facing the park is also great.
